just assume ASM pay out 5% of interest for 12 months
if u buy now you only get 11 month worth of interest

5%/12 x 11 = 4.58%
4.5%/12 x 11 = 4.125%

if your amount is like just RM100 to RM1k then ok la.. wont have much impact if is like 10k above then think twice before buying, just buy at the end of the month and u will lose like few days of interest saja

I only masuk ASM1 mostly sometimes will masuk 2 or 3 if I happen to wake up at 2am and my FD need places to masuk and earn me interest

Why Chinese so rich? I am going to answer my question - Chinese is not rich but our grandma or parents always say must save for rainy days ... My grandma always tell me I give you 50 cents to school you use only 30 cents and keep the 20 cents for rainy days

all i know is 31st March is the financial year end for ASM, why u bring up Jan 1 to 31st March? I dont understand

ASM is as good as EPF - that was long long ago... it is history
even previously ASB also way better than EFP if i still remember la

ASB should outperform EPF anytime depending on how much gov is willing to 'campur tangan'
