Yes, I think we are now looking at, at least, OPR of 2.5% by year end and around 3% by mid 2023. That has to raise the FD benchmark figure and should see a decent rise in ASM2, ASM3 returns. I am not sure how much of an effect will be felt in this year's ASM2 ASM3 dividends but there is no excuse now for next year not being >5% imho.

No better than various FDs? I do not know of any FDs paying more than 2%.

In fact, according to PNB the income distribution of ASB 3 Didik translates to total returns of 4.25%, outperforming its benchmark Maybank 12-Month Fixed Deposit of 1.89% by 236 basis points.

Below 4% for ASM2/ASM3 is realistic though i hope it wont come to that.

My guess? The combo package of variable fund and fixed fund. He might have bought the package and half of the fund goes to asm3 so asnb have to get like 30k per shot for him until all fully redeemed hence the 30k 30k 30k 10k figure. Aka he invested total 200k and bought 100k variable fund and 100k asm3. The last 20k probably previous lot.

Either that or it's when the app first introduced and not many ppl knew coz i believe it was possible when it first launch. Since no date it could have been that time.

Edit: anyway.. it's 25th!! No more asm 2 transactions and.... *Drum rolls".... Time for dividend announcement!! Anytime from now until merdeka!! 4.2% please!!!!

Currently highest FD rate is 4.5% from PB, hope all coming ASMx dividends can be more than this.
