If you bank in and withdraw on the same month, you won't get interest for it because they use the lowest balance of that month to calculate the interest.

A simple example is probably the best way to explain it. Yes, but, (assuming 5% dividend) you have 'only' lost 300k x5% x1/12 = RM1250.00! And you have secured the units. Had you waited until the first of the following month they may not have been available.
