Our best friend is the Kuda Calendar for reference to anything..... So our transaction won't get stuck... Especially for ASNB & EPF..... So can plan accordingly
*
Add On:

15 September 2025 which is not on Kuda as our nation always have bonus holiday grin.gif

This month really loaded with public holidays 1st, 5th, 15th & 16th

School teachers got additional from 17th to 19th so this month they literally only work 15 days shocking.gif

Ahhh yes...
That holiday is adhoc one..... Others is win some games / international sports... So got holiday too 😁

More holiday is good? Can stimulate the related industry....
1. Car workshops
2. Hotels
3. Tolls operators
4. Petroleum companies
5. F&B
6. Airlines

Since it's all above got SST...
More $$$ for gomen too...

😁

Another added information....
To fund all these expenses...
Need to withdraw some ASMx or ASBx $$$ too...
Which give openings for those hunting units πŸ‘
*
Just now this thing also came into my mind

The RM100 SARA that Gov gave out, actually the money also contributed to their tax revenue from SST and company tax, does this mean nett nett they actually gave out lesser than RM100 per person?

Yes past years we saw school holidays always have withdrawals, probably to fund the spendings to bring kids out etc.

I am sitting tight on my ASB/ASM funds to the end of the year I think. ASM3 and ASB1 dividends will be a decent indicator of how all ASNB funds will cope with the geo political situation in the future. Right now, I would settle for the same as last year, 4.75% for ASM3 and 5.75% for ASB1, with a 0.25% improvement on all funds for next year.
*
QUOTE(nexona88 @ Sep 8 2025, 08:58 AM)
Well there mixture of maintaining the fund $$ & withdrawal.... Different people have different needs....

As for dividend.... I'm hoping for better next year too... But my feeling is ASM 1 might give out 5% with ASM 2 & 3 playing "catch up" with 5%.... So 2026 dividend for all 3 ASMx fund series is same dividend rates... No difference between them... It's also good for ASNB... Because there's won't be much "switching" from ASM 2&3 to ASM 1....
*
I will be more incline to expect no growth in dividend % again for 2026 after seeing what happened to ASB2 and ASW

Until today, FBMKLCI is still below 1600 and even went back also never stay long

So like what ASNB said during ASW distribution, KLCI still -ve YoY

Unless it goes back to 1600+ and most importantly stay there then we could seee a growth

Of course, I hope I will be proven wrong grin.gif

So you're telling me that ASM 1 dividend would dropped like to 4.75% & the other 2 ASMx to 4.5% like that????

Woah.... Really incompetent people around........
But still.... Their selling point.... Still above FD rates yo πŸ˜œπŸ˜„πŸ€£
*
I hope ASM can at least stay at 5% but I can only hope

Actually I read something and it somehow sparks my awareness, you see now Trump actually doing less drama but things still gloomy

Why? Actually the real impact from his tariff thing will come after. Because once kicked in people will spend less because things had gone more expensive so the real impact coming now

From the movement looks like ASNB aren't doing anything proactively, just cruise on

Could be that they are not allowed to, because like you said less global (US) exposure and more volatile withdrawal compared to EPF

Hmmm...

They're playing defensive.... Going into "safe" investment.... Especially those benefits from local consuming trends....  Less exposure to US uncertainty tariff thingy....

Those related to MyKasih SARA probably???

With FD rates & those low risk assets types rates getting lower than 4%.... ASMx funds 4%++ seems like good bet & parking places.... Even though there's No PIDM protection.... It's stable dividend is selling point.... No promo needed.... Everyone know what & where to buy.... And withdraw too 😁
*
from the narrative they sent out for ASW payout I feel they are just cruising thru, especially when they mentioned YoY KLCI is -ve

if you look at point to point YoY of course -ve

in between there are dip & high so does that mean they did not take the chance, which most probably so because if so they will also contribute to market volatility

As long there's support & strong demand by the Malaysian public....

ASNB funds especially those Fixed types is secured & very low risk of going bust @ bankrupt 😁

Anyway...
ASNB should take the current opportunity to increase the fund size & offer new units....

Probably 2bil with 30k limit per individual account is good start?? ☺️
*
like what you said previously, if compared to US index KLCI can only swim around 1,xxx pts after so many years while DJI or S&P 500 the jump within a year also more than that number already

But when dip, also the same can go very deep

Their market can swing drastically..... Higher liquidity & demographics of investors around.... seriously Not really for weak hearts....
Thus That's where ASNB comes with stable returns 😁
*
Yeah

Important to keep our expectation right

If weak heart and chose to invest in low risk instruments eg. ASNB then don't expect unrealistic return

If want high return, go to those that can offer but be ready for the excitement

Worst comment was when ASNB declared 4% dividend during recovery and whined that ASNB sucks and should had just dumped it somewhere else doh.gif

but FD rate to the drain

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Sep 13 2025, 03:20 PM)
Yes...

Now the trading is mostly localized one...

By those local big funds like EPF, ASNB, TH etc.

One big move made by any of these funds... KLCI moves accordingly too....
*
Now we know why they are so desperate for more fund esp ASM and KWSP self-contribution/i-Saraan/2% FW

I don't know leh....
Like too much only the cuts....

Actually There's another crazy speculation going on in the market.... Don't know can trust or not....

It's linked to Gold price - Gold reserves - 8k tons & US debt....  And the increase of gold to US vaults around Dec 2024.....
For EPF, it's because of 70% thingy...

ASMx??? It's already achieved... More actually......
I'm more betting into the losses in certain companies..... Serba dinamic & Sapura????  Need to cover back....
*
if foreign fund keep withdrawing also need someone to fill in the gap otherwise cannot sustain 1600 or even 1500 am I right

Hoping for 5% too...
But looking at how normally their give dividends for both ASM 2 & 3 previously

4.75% highly possible
*
4.75% because KLCI past 1 month didn't go far

Couldn't even sustain 1600 for more than 2 days

Multiple factor actually.... Not purely on KLCI only...

Their payout ratio also play role... See how much reserve is kept & c/frwd to next FY....

My speculation is.... For 2026

ASM 1 - 5% @ maintain

ASM 2 & 3 - 5% @ increase from 4.75%

ASNB cannot afford to reduce the dividend number.... It's give them bad publicity....

So it's either maintain or increase.... Y-o-Y
*
Ya equity is only a portion of the portfolio

But ASNB was using KLCI bad performance to justify ASM 2 dividend stuck at 4.75%

Basically, I feel they are indirectly telling us to bersyukur still got same dividend % despite KLCI not performing as a whole grin.gif

Soon even easier since now US started the rate cut

Those with bigger CC cars especially those above 2k is most likely to fill up more 300L per month...

My calculations on usage is around 180L +/-
With additional 50L to 90L if balik kampung or Holidays purposes.....

So 300L is sufficient enough for me....

Anyway
Counting the days to dividend for ASM 3...
Not expecting any major surprise.... As for now....
Next few days, there's might be hints coming from insiders... If willing to share 😁
*
From history trend

It is gonna be 4.75%

Remember ASM 3 was established after the KLCI high time so I myself don't expect they have huge buffer kept

Based on historical figures....

ASM 3 does have weaker financial....

Entry cost is higher thanks to "Young" or shorter fund life compared with the others 2 funds... And higher unsold units percentage... thanks to 50% vs 49% brows.gif
*
Yup Yup

Instead I am looking forward for coming year

Whether can sustain 5% for ASM and the rest follows

ASB will tell in December

For me, if I indeed trying.... Start from big amounts then slowly reduced smaller.... 10k 5k 2k 1k 500... Heck even tried some rm10 too.... For fun....

FD rates is dropping, even before OPR cuts.... Now don't need to talk... Gotten even lower.....

Some says OPR cuts, debts payment gets cheaper.... But many saying it's opposite direction instead......

Only worries... With benchmark against Maybank FD 12m board rate...... ASMx dividend also "adjusted" according.... I meant the funds performance....

Those whom sold ASM 3 at this point must be very desperate for $$$$ or they found something else which can give way higher returns & can easily cover whatever "losses incurred" by selling off ASM 3 now..... πŸ”₯πŸ’ͺπŸ’΅πŸ€‘
*
actually I suspect some don't even know how the dividend is being calculated so they just withdraw as they wished

there was one content creator 'preaching' about it also gave an impression that dividend of ASM products are daily rested

despite the end result was correct (he used example of deposit of 1st day of the month and withdraw on 1st day of another month) his calculation was using x how many days
