Erm what modem u using? Alao ur mean you put 1111/1001 and 8888/8844 in modem setting?

Also, check ur dhcp server setting in modem, if got dns server, leave it blank.

get your police report and report this incident to tm and request a replacement.
normally it does not cost anything to get replacement if a criminal incident like this happened and your equipment is lost

Iinm, that dlink from tm doesnt support mu-mimo even its spec so. However, non tm issue one does support.

or a lot of people in your house sharing the internet?

generally speaking, 100 mbps is suffice if none of the above applied to you.

What sources are you downloading from? Can the source allow you to download @ more than 30mb/s? If so, then 300mbps is good.
Me download from steam 10 gb only a few mins.. It's been satisfying experience. I can uninstall a lot of my games and only install when I want to play it.

received my 1111 asus ac86u from taobao yesterday
finish setup and OMG, its so good.
wifi @ 5ghz is getting me full speed of 300 mbps going thru 1.5 wall from living room to my bedroom.
but cant get unifi tv box to work with hypp tv, dunno if i somehow messed up my white unifi tv box. vlan is configured @ 600 already for port 4.
flashed merlin today and gonna tried it out again later at night.
whats good channel for 5ghz? i just have to test each and every channel for speed and ping test to figure out?
and how to get more channel on 5ghz? i only get unii1 and 3 channel, only 8 of them. which region allow all channel selection?

alright.
even china unit, since asus use one firmware for all the region, just change the region in the firmware and will get to use the channel as per region configure.
by default china region has only 4 channel for 5ghz.
and yes, warranty is claimable only at China, not malaysia or singapore. for me is not a problem.

lol only 800 mbps got the issue
maybe tm decide 800 mbps is too much and gonna throttle it down to "best effort basis"

For that is true, but china follow ETSI standard in transmit power.
So the TX power limit is standard for most of the router sold by Asus.
only disclaimer asus showed is US FCC and Canada.
that being said, if ah, asus did tweak the router according to malaysia regulation, then it is super good for some frequencies
for 2.4 ghz, malaysia maximum mW is 500, 5x then ETSI standard
for 5 GHz channel 36 to 64, our maximum mW is 1000, thats 5x higher than ETSI
for the rest of 5ghz frequency then ETSI is better, 1000mW is as high as it goes in malaysia vs ETSI
– 5 GHz channel 100 to 140: 1000 mW
– 5 GHz channel 155 to 171: 4000 mW

if u are consistently getting 300mbps, check ur router setting see if advance qos is active
or u are connecting to a guest network with speed limit?

But it looks like my 139 is maintained even after promo.

if 5 series experience is anything to go by, its okay
wifi connection is good but coverage isnt the best
stable speed also
definitely a good day to day router for everything
but do not expect top level performance for specific task, like gaming
best thing is this is compatible with airmesh, previous router isnt
so it is good even after you upgrade, it can still act as a mesh node.

not likely. TM still dominate the fiber war and even player like time is offering cheaper price, coverage still limited.
and TM is undergoing BLEEDING due to 5g race started.
Their strategy to getting more coverage for fiber in old and new residential where TIME and others cannot come in,
