Based on government requirement, TM also has to reach a amount target of users, to proof that gov had do the correct investment to helps expend the High Speed Internet Access, and do the investment again and again.
Just for better example, my area just got extended fiber from outside, but instead of 300M which is provided to outside of this Taman, 30M is the max speed you can apply for in this Taman.
It is to control and prevent the overload of the line, which will causing huge amount of lag to all the users on this line.

And I also guess, it is because lot of 300M users outside of this Taman, so causing 30M instead of 100M to all the new users.
Yes, except you are downloading, or sharing Internet to lot of heavy user, it is hardly notified.
The only thing you can notify is the WiFi are limiting you to reach the speed of 300M, except you got flagship smartphone that support higher WiFi speed at lower signal rate of 5 GHz.
But yes, you can notify the speed of downloading a new software, or updating to new software, or updating to latest build of Windows 10 2004.
And yes, as a gamer prefer to play new games, and updating to latest version, it matter a lot.

Its 2020, Malaysia still suffering with coverage areas (both wired and wireless) even at well developed areas. 

im currently on unifi lite 10mbps...after all these years finally unifi has arrived to my kampung....i think so because on the end of may tm contractor stand a new pole next to my house.. and the on early july they pull black yellow fibre like cable and now last thursday they install those white fibre dp box...today i live chat with tm asking if fibre is really arrived at my kampung and suprisingly they said my area is not on fiber yet...is it because my area is not on system yet or those box is still not fully funtional..how long need to wait after new installation...do i need to pay anything to upgrade from unifi lite to unifi fibre...or just need to pay contractor on installation..thank you

and Nope. New place just moved in is rented. Prev tenant did not sub to HSBB that's why I think someone sapu the port. Must be some joker using more than 1 port per household.

My house unit number is not in the unifi system but my next door neighbor can install unifi and the unifi tiang is just next to my house

Any way to get TM to update their database seems like they left out my house from their database ?

My area only have unifi infra in 2019,, currently 2 fiber infra in my area(maxis- for years before unifi came, unifi HSBB)

My 5Ghz wifi speed drop suddenly. Before at the same distance my 5ghz would beat my 2.4Ghz wifi speed. Now it doest get past 5Mbps. Anybody have any idea what happen and how to fix?.

Should I reset my modem?. I only try turning it on and off.
Tried on my phone, same result.

Few days ago, I got a call from TM on coverage as I have request to check coverage in their website. TM said my area is not in the coverage however 2 months ago, saw Unifi agent set up booth in my area. Does this mean it is coming or not coming?

My area will soon be getting unifi fiber. Need advise on home fiber installation. i am living in a landed property and the outside connection via a pole to my house and for inside will be routed from the ceiling. It is better to have the unifi installer to do the works or get a contractor to do the installation?

Anyone tried accessing the unifi.com.my portal? Seems like it's been broken for months?

1. Can't login properly. Pops up the digitalme window and just gets stuck in some profile page. Doesn't actually log me in.
2. Only shows the account as logged in after I close the tab and reopen it.
3. When clicking on dashboard or pay bills it says I've not subscribed to any services.

At least they still remember to email and SMS the bill to me.

I'm not sure why it's so hard to get a basic portal up and running.

Hi guys. I'm currently on streamyx paying RM69. Recently a TM agent came and said that my housing area already has unifi and asked me to upgrade to unifi. He asked me to select any of the existing unifi packages available Currently. What I need to know is that, is it possible to continue paying RM69 but get upgraded to unifi? Or must I upgrade my package to unifi package and then only they'll upgrade me to unifi. Also. If I reject their offer and stay on streamyx, what will happen? cause they did say that streamyx will be phased out soon. Thanks in advance

my uncle house just got unifi install and the fibre cable enter through ceiling and exit middle of the house .. inside ceiling the fibre is protected by micro duct protection if i understand correctly from allaboard.pdf. the microduct installation is rm60 no ? and supposed the charging to bill or cash ?

the installer charged rm170 and paid by cash.. my uncle being ripped off or what ? any insight ?
