Thanks for the clarification. Now that one is iron out, what about signal strength? Will it play a major role in draining the battery? I may not be the only one that have experience several drop call and very weak signal as compared to even a mid ranger phones in my office ( samsung J series and xiaomi ). I read thru and thru that this problem is very apparent.
Motorola have very bad battery life for the x series. i've used three of them n yes, the G series is nonetheless the better performer due to the low screen reso. But that does not mean it can beat the iphone in the same range category like the x2 and x4 which is terrible in battery performance.
But yeah, the ip11 and pro max do not really have any difference in a glance. To think it have the same reso is ignorant. But the difference is definitely there.
It's difficult to answer when it comes to "signal strength" as this is hardware AND software related. Remember that different brands use different hardware/chips to build their phones.
One thing is for sure- when you have weak signal, it draws more battery.
Just think of it like you are downloading something on your phone 24/7 (since some apps require background data processing).
A weak signal will definitely have slower internet so it takes more time to use your mobile data hence, more power is needed to stay your phone "awake".
Anyway, I had the OG X, X2 and X4. The X4 for me has above average battery life if i can remember.
I don't think there is anymore Android phone that is similarly spec'd as the iPhone 11 (flagship SOC with low display resolution).
This is actually Apple's advantage because now, consumers think that iPhones have the best battery life due to the iPhone 11.
