Not sure is the antenna on samsung is weak or huawei's is super strong

Note10+ camera is not the best i guess. i mean compared to ip11pro ,pixel or even mate30pro.

Ok now I’m having second thoughts about the Note 10+

I got mine with easyphone rent. Yeah i don't technically own the phone but what to do i'm poor af. It's 255 per month and since i'm a long time customer with clean record, there's no upfront payment. So i just went to Celcom and got the phone. The receipt that they gave me total to RM 0.

Screen & speaker is the main reason i went for this phone. I love that the top speaker is really loud and actually sounds better since it's front firing. Yea standby time could be better but then with 12GB RAM, everything stays in the RAM. I can live with that.

My previous phone is a Mate 10. I do find the Note 10+ slightly weaker in some places but my office building is like a dungeon so signal is generally bad. Camera these days is all about processing. You might prefer one over the other. To me, it's a huge leap over my previous Mate 10.

Dont be. You already know different phone models display different signal bars. Anyway, the huaweis are on kirin, note is on exynos and OP is on SD. All the phones on different chipsets would display different network signal readings.

You would only max out at most 6-7gb of ram on your phone at anytime. Android will close apps and features automatically when they are not in use for a period of time.

Its a good phone to begin with just that there are few shortcomings.
Every phone has its shortcomings i guess.
note10+ most major one is battery life (not as good as other flagship competitor) and antenna.
They are good in aspects like screen and sound.
Note 10 have alot of features like spens ( i love the on screen translation with pen), still exploring one UI but i feel its better than EMUI for sure.
Note series is more of an all rounder phone.

I feel samsung will catch up in terms of camera with s11 rumoured 108 mp camera.
now the main camera is only 12mp. do check out the comparison between note10+ camera with phones like mi 108mp phone or nex3.

THe image processing for samsung is better but the detail by those camera with high mp wins note10 hands down.
The video stabilization on note10 is superb too tho i dont use them


True on different signal bars but i do notice the difference, some area i dont get internet connection with my note10+ but with mate i have. both use the exact same simcard and provider (celcom).

The built in antenna's on the Samsung flagships are known not to be the strongest, so hence the weaker signal bar.

As for the camera, I agree that Samsung is some where in the middle mark between Pixel and iPong 😅

Ya, am not a camera kaki too but my previous experiences with Samsung flagships tells me that the camera will most likely be good enough for me - the colours could be a bit over-saturated but I think that won’t be a deal breaker.

I guess it's part and parcel of Samsung phones. Hopefully One UI 2.0 fixes it somewhat. Unless it's a chip flaw.
