my exp tells otherwise.

b4 the note 10 plus, its only a Max Pro from Asus with 5000Mah. That also, to me, just performed abit better than the N10 plus. That's the biggest battery i have handled. I wanted to try the ROG II, but since im no hardcore gamer, using the phone will be useless just for casual usage. Which is why in the end i picked the Note 10 plus.

I had the Asus Max Pro M1 too and the phone can't be compared to the Note 10+ since it's an entry level to midrange offering - I bought the 3/32GB one and that was definitely entry level   So when you said it performed better, I'm assuming you meant the battery life. Oh yeah, and the signal reception was better too

Since I updated to the latest firmware, I keep receiving notification about WeChat use lot of battery and ask me to put the app to sleep, and even I didn't put the app to sleep, my message won't in until I open the app and check.

I've always had problems with WeChat as well, sometimes I'd get that same notification as you mentioned and sometimes I'd get a notification saying the app has stopped even though I didn't open it in the first place. So much so I've stopped using it completely and uninstalled it - and let everyone know I only use WhatsApp
