However I do agree. I think that the LED notification is a very important I would prefer to have on my android phones. Sadly many manufacturers of smartphones don't think so. Edge lightning is no so effective and discreet and the notification LED and also a battery drainer too.

Actually, Iphones warranties are not international. It is limited to the country of purchase.

Nope. What has got inserting a sim card from another region do with a total system reset? Unless done on purpose.

This dude must have put in a new foreign sim card into his phone, accidently pressed the reset all button and when prompted to enter pin code to reset, he must have thought he keyed in his phone/sim unlock code and hence the reset.

Had the same issue with my Note 8 after 11 months usage last round. Send it back for RMA and got the battery replaced. No questions asked.

It will take 3-4 days. No labour charge if phone is under warranty.

Chances would a million to one if SME would be bringing in the SD version into Malaysian waters.

This is not a cat and mouse game. We have no time for these games. If you are not up to the required standards than you are out. We are paying top dollar for a flagship phone and we are expecting nothing but the best. I can tolerate a slightly lesser performing chipset because we won't utilize fully the max performance of the chipset all the time. But this round, network reception is even weaker with the Exynos and this is the last straw for me.

The on screen fp experience might be different for different people. Some will have better prints while some might not because genetic or work or accidents. I have tried the onscreen fp personally on the Note 10+, the OP7 Pro and the Mate 30 Pro. FP on the Mate 30 and OP7 Pro seems to be slightly faster. Most consistent would be the Mate 3 Pro even with TG installed. However all 3 still can't be compared to physical FP sensors in terms of speed and consistency. So to be fair, we can't blame Samsung on this.

You can put it as both the tech is still immature yet or on screen fp does have their own weakenesses.

You can opt to buy the SD version of Samsung phones here through grey importers. Or you can jump ship to other brands which are on SD.
