Carlguy This question, you should be asking Media Prima, because they are the one that is paying HD broadcasting fees to MYTV Broadcasting, and this kind of things are not revealed to the public.
MYTV Broadcasting will even downgrade/upgrade the channel's picture quality without any announcement or publish any notice to be public, so viewers will be the one to notice the sudden change in picture quality, and share the info online.
So none of us here knows whether the channel will remain SD/HD forever or not, unless if you're an internal relevant staff from either Media Prima or MYTV Broadcasting...

If they don't have money to pay for HD, then they can pay for SD quality to ensure that the broadcast of their channels remains.
It's all up to the broadcaster (Media Prima) to decide, and to the honest, they wouldn't really care/prioritise viewer's viewing experience, because viewership, content and their financials is above everything else.
