Speaking of this all-online radio station, I think there's no need for terrestrial coverage for newer radio stations at least, if you just aim for metro populations? Since internet's available with speeds good enough for just audio (even though in Muzik fm's case it also includes a video loop while not livestreaming) unless you're on basic internet or bad signal...

Some might say you need terrestrial for cheap cars and so on but you can just play through phone on a stand I suppose (unless you dont have smartphone)...

This depends on the viewing preferences. For me I prefer Unifi TV app due to ease of use. Not really interested on RTM (except major sports events).

Funding $$$$ gotten cut probably....

All private TV stations trying to save their operation cost by just broadcasting in SD only...

All the private stations (Media Prima, Awesome TV, Suke TV) gives shit (yes, shit) and unacceptable terrestrial picture quality to save operational costs (which should not happen - especially the case for Media Prima!)

SD is totally unacceptable and clearly not ethical in 2025.

For Media Prima channels, you can still watch it in HD elsewhere (ad loaded tonton livestream - which I do not recommend to use at all, Unifi TV) but for the other two - there are limited alternatives available.

But then, there are lots of bandwidth available on MUX 1 (8Mbps was cleared out because the private broadcasters wants to give shit picture quality, and nobody is expected to use the bandwidth!)

These Private Channel operators don't care if the broadcast is in SD...

Their main target is ads revenues $$$ & viewership numbers....

Some people might not even realized the difference between SD & HD... Especially those kampung people & old folks... Which is their main target....

They're mostly clueless about all these...

Only we very particular with this SD HD thingy.... 4K broadcasting....

For me, of all the channels listed... I only watch few of them... Especially TV3, TV1 & 2...

we only can dream for 4K broadcasting then....

19 February MYTV & TV5 sign some agreement...

And December post, they ads about hiring new staff...
