As usual - this program is simulcast across many TV and radio stations because of the national importance.

13 way TV channel simulcast across all platforms

Media Prima - Taking from RTM Parlimen online feed, quality is noticeably lower than RTM live feed as lower resolution is used for stability.
All 4 channels (TV3, 8TV, TV9, Didik TV KPM) are simulcasting the event.

These channels take TV1 HDTV feed :
TV Alhijrah
Bernama TV
Awesome TV
Suke TV
TVS
Astro Awani

Small delays and slightly poorer quality is expected because they take the off air live feed from RTM.
Unifi TV parliament channel obtained the direct feed from the parliament.

All 34 RTM radio stations, Bernama Radio and IKIM FM are also simulcasting the Budget 2024 audio live. It can be quite confusing to tune to the radio at this time if frequency isn't shown (but luckily, the commercial radio stations didn't simulcast the Budget)

1- Being forbidden from covering the National Day Parade
2- Astro announces they will be dropping Awesome
3- MyTV announces they will be dropping Awesome

Awesome really had struck a nerve with someone in the govt, and they are teaching Awesome a lesson

May I know why , sometimes the build in DVB-T2 from some 32 inch non smart tv channel always a few week later channel change ?

like channel number 108 change to 804 ? always the signal also drop after changing.How to set it permanent ?

As TV viewing is diversifying, of course we have multiple apps to watch live TV for free.

Unifi Play TV (RTM TV1/TV2, TV Alhijrah, Media Prima, TVS, selected foreign news channels), requires registration. Free viewing of premium channels for 30 days when you first registered your account. Watch up to 4 channels at the same time. Up to 1080p resolution.

RTM Klik (RTM TV and Radio only, catch up feature of selected RTM shows). No registration needed. Up to 1080p resolution.

MYTV Mana-mana (RTM, TV Alhijrah, TVS, Bernama, Suke TV, selection of foreign TV channels, radio live streaming for RTM and selected local stations). No registration needed, Replay/rewind possible except for RTM channels. Selection of VOD content. Resolution - up to 1080p for live TV.

Tonton (Media Prima channels), requires registration. Contain ads. Rewind up to 45 mins of live TV. Selected VOD contents available. Optional subscription for VOD and Japanese/Korean TV shows, ad free. Resolution - up to 720p for live TV.

Sooka (RTM TV1, TV2, TV Okey, selected Astro channels, selected FAST streaming channels). Requires registration (wasn't required earlier). Contain ads. Selected VOD content for free. Optional subscription for VOD, premium quality viewing (up to 1080p), viewing on TV, live sports and premium channels (ad free with subscription). Resolution - up to 480p (for free user, mobile/tablet/PC only).

Internet connection of min 10 Mbps internet speed per device and unlimited data (such as Fibre) are recommended for good streaming experience. For certain features (such as multiple channel concurrent viewing), higher bitrates are necessary. As you are watching TV channels live via the internet, you may need to take caution for data usage, especially if you are using live streaming via mobile data plan or 5G home internet connection. Delays will be there when compared to linear TV viewing (DVB-T2) due to the nature of streaming.

The delay for linear TV is just 7 seconds (MYTV terrestrial signal), at least 30 seconds +++ for live streaming. That's one reason why I recommend to have some form of linear viewing for every household (even if the content is not attractive).
