hello~ can i ask you how's the ping like? any latency issues? smile.gif
I didn't check the ping on the game because the combat feels smooth to me. However, I did experience rubber banding issues when changing zones or entering the dynamic event on the map.
And I believe D4 has different server in different geo locations. On the first day of beta, I had to queue for 50 minutes to enter the game, but when I used VPN at the HK node to retry, my queue was reduced to 10 minutes.
So, if you have latency issues, I suppose a VPN would help.
Have to wait until June I guess. So far, no shop nnounce they'll bring in physical copy for pc.
Is there even going to be a physical copy though?
I managed to level my sorc to 18 over the last weekend, no complaints about the gameplay or framerate (running on 1080TI at 2K res). Queue times were bearable (longest was 10 minutes) and there wasn't much lag. Overall I don't regret pre-ordering.
I've only encounter long queue time on the first day. My final day Rogue build just roll pass enemies, it wasnt so easy on my Barbarian. Hopefully they will get the builds and itemization right. Art, sounds and cinematics are already well done.
its so sad that theres no longer have physical copy for D4 PC version...miss the legendary pbbseller massive stock pic...Still a bit pain to pay rm3xx for digital version in battlenet

welcome 2 the digital era
even 4k bluray also going 2 extinct soon with rise of streaming
Did everything possible on 1 char on the weekend, beat Ashava, the Gathering Legions Zone Event, killed the Butcher, cleared all dungeons. But I'll probably see how Battle Pass works out before deciding to buy the game. Also a little miffed Blizzard purposely stopped pc players from having local co-op mode.

Probably like world of warcraft, character 1000% xp or insta max level service

Levels are so easy to grind in Diablo I don't think Blizzard will stop at that. More likely they'll add in higher chances of getting end game loot, compared to players not buying Battle Pass. Like in DI where someone calculated you need 10 years of grinding just to catch up with p2w players that dont bother grinding.

Drop chance buff, wouldn't that be evil? mwahahaha
The builds don't seem to be in-depth enough even with the aspects. Unless the open beta only have a limited skill tree, skill builds are pretty bland.
Graphics wise, good enough but the UI is terrible
Story wise, sorry not gonna read another Blizz story in my life lol no comment on this
Boss fights, best part of the game. Difficulty wise I'm not expecting much from just Act 1 bosses so its good enough. Not expecting raid levels like WoW or Lost Ark but it's hard not to compare to MMO raids which is way more fun.
Drops don't feel good at all. Probably not enough affixes on the items? Legendary Aspects drop also feels very meh. Unless unique item fixes this, farming is gonna feel very bad.
World boss felt gimmicky, don't think the hardest world boss will be hard at all since you can't even create a group of parties. Probably a casual weekly event that is accessible to everyone.
Drop system is atrocious. Item drops are tied to mob level. Means items will be worthless quite quickly. Why bother farming Ashava (which is fixed to lv25 in beta) when there's another mob that drop better items. A blue item from the lv35 rare boss totally destroyed my Ashava drops in terms of damage.
Since item drops are tied to mob level, your gear will get invalidated really fast. Got a very good roll on a legendary item? It's worthless a few more levels you gained. I know this is present in other ARPGs too but this one is worse.
Dungeon farming will end up to be boss farming instead. Endgame is probably going to have players farming the same particular boss instead of dungeons for drops. Unless the dungeon mobs are the highest level mobs in the entire game.
I might revisit the game once it's more polished and more information on the endgame is out. For now I'll save the $70 USD.

Just a random Druid build built from what legendaries I get during Open Beta, so painful, nice shockwave hahaha the following videos, I was just trying to present highest possible dmg it can do, need buff up so I play at slower pace, even without fully buff up, random stomping already can one shot most monsters KEK , can be played at faster pace
Part 1
Part 2
