METUS50 spikes to 1.35 at 3:14 PM thats also my doubt...if deposit this morning, when my fund will be invested in the market? Invest same day as they received my fund, and reflect in the account at midnight? really dont know...

i just check my feb statement, yes the answer is there. I believe depending your time of transaction, they could invest your fund at the same day.
I had a deposit on 17th feb, and I noticed my holding quantity increased at the same day. Also, I calculated the price they invested on 17feb is MYR5.58, which is lower than the market closing price of the day.

QUOTE(GrumpyNooby @ Mar 3 2020, 04:31 PM) With SAMY, I can roughly time the deposit as it has strong connection to what is happening in US market. If you deposit in the early morning, your deposit could be converted to USD by end of the day and be invested by the night itself. But sometime, this could drag to 2 working days. lolz so i gonna remember my deposit time today, then check the detail in March statement. If my deposit invested at same day today then i will know this is good timing for deposit. BTW, i deposit at 7am this morning lolz

so yes, they did invest my fund at the same day. with the statement i basically can calculate everything now, everything is so transparent and clear now

QUOTE(Adam77 @ Mar 4 2020, 09:59 AM) Guys, Can anyone tell me how they actually compute the cash amount in the portfolio allocation as in the statement it doesn't show unrealised gain/loss like all the other categories? thats the funny part, i wonder why they allocate 2.5% in cash...and seems like they are holding MYR instead of USD or other currency, thats why there is no gain/loss. U holding in MYR, so 1 MYR is always 1 MYR, no gain no loss. The cash portion seems like for saving only

QUOTE(GrumpyNooby @ Mar 4 2020, 10:10 AM) Same concept as UT for local equity market. They retain up to 10% sometimes 20% of cash in MYR. luckily aggressive portfolio is just 2.5%, how about your very aggressive portfolio?

QUOTE(Adam77 @ Mar 4 2020, 02:24 PM) Another one, if we looked at detailed breakdown of our portfolio performance, does “cash bonuses” included in the “total earnings” and minus “wahed fees” to make up the total of “I have earned”? definitely no, cash bonus is not counted as what you've earned
