QUOTE(yklooi @ Mar 14 2020, 12:28 PM) thanks for that pointers. with that, investors can literally "time" the buying in Wahed? having knowing when the buying price would be lower or higher before buying? No you cant time it, literally. You may able to time the day.

QUOTE(yklooi @ Mar 14 2020, 12:50 PM) so can still time the day when to buy or sell by looking at the variance of the NAV and the PRICE from the link above? You just need to see how long Wahed complete the buy/sell. That way you can time the day. But to exactly time the specific time with Wahed, its impossible.

OK, thanks for the replies... thus it is actually no beneficial gains to know about this then I thought can "time" the buy/sell.... QUOTE Because for the MyETF Dow Jones US50, you can see a big gap between the NAV and the price (1.0410 NAV vs 1.23 Price). Wahed calculate based on the price. The current drop is because the price drop from 1.37 to 1.23. Current NAV (1.0410): https://www.myetf.com.my/en/MyETF-Series/My...rical-NAV-PriceCurrent Price (1.23): https://www.bloomberg.com/quote/METFUS50:MK This post has been edited by yklooi: Mar 14 2020, 11:59 AM

You see the price. You happy. You buy. You get the stocks immediately. Roboadvisor you deposit money, by the time it reaches your account, the price may be different already.

It is beneficial, it indicates whether it's a good time to buy or not. If you see a wide margin between the NAV and the price, then its not a good time to buy because the price is expected to follow in line with the NAV. The only problem is we don't know how long does it take for Wahed to buy the share from the moment we deposit our money. It could the same day or maybe 3 days difference. QUOTE(ericlaiys @ Mar 15 2020, 01:25 PM) 0.99% per year (if you invest between RM100-249,999). So that's 0.0825% per month. You can read more about in the article that I wrote in my previous post. This post has been edited by Leo the Lion: Mar 15 2020, 12:31 PM
