what bothers me what did they did with the 3rod consoles that had been
replaced by m$? they didnt suffer loss much as profit from it?

and its stupid that they didn't bother fixing it with the elite.

The developer make goods games. Microsoft are part of the publisher only. not all their games are good

But anyway, The reason I want to ask, why take 2 years of time (research maybe? ) and then only spend the 1 Billion (what ?!? money for repairs ? or research again )to annouced the 3 RROD ?

I'm guessing everybody purchase xbox 360 has became Microsoft "Putih Tikus" (Lab Rat)

Frankly aku rasa diorang pun tak tau the exact reason. M'soft cakap design flaw, but Asian manufacturers cakap due to low quality component. I went for low quality component. Design flaw maybe what contributes to overheat, non ejectable dvd drive, or freeze. If it were design flaw it wont last more than few months. But unreadable disc, burnt chip, bent motherboard..that's component failure. Macam Mercedes pakai enjin plastik. The plastic engine will melt no matter how good were they designed.

USD 1B are for reimbursement of repair services, extension of warranty till 3 years not to mention prospect of upcoming repairs. They're bright. By not admitting the reason for this problem, they avoiding recall. That would be a disaster. Halo dah nak keluar dah ni.

True. Asian Xbox 360 are more on Low Quality Component.

I got some units return with The famous (I can't eject my tray) and the most common my disc said is unreadable problem..

it is US xbox 360 have a better quality compare to asian 360 ??

component they bought it from asian i think
since it will be more cheap even for grade A resistor

but the best part is
MS will be join venture with lite-on to add on dvd-rom for 360
coz my machine only had this knid of prob
2 times repair and for 2 nd time change to new 1 terus from tot31



p/s:that day at tot house...my machine show me some scary movie show...THE BLINKING OF 3ROD...luckily after restart ok
