I figured mine out - turns out for some reason or another after the update the region got changed to UK. Changing it back to Malaysia made the line disappear.
*
Ok, I check region was set to Singapore. Set it to Malaysia, the AppleCare thing is still there. Well, it's harmless, not buying AppleCare anyway.

Nice, welcome to the club.

Silver's a good color - every week when I drive past the Kesas highway with the big @ss Silver Pro Max billboard, I kept thinking to myself if I should've gotten the Silver instead lol

Guys. I recently back to ios after a few years with android.

Any recommendations for a good screen protector? Any difference for a rm10 tempered glass and rm100 one?

Can buy from Celcom outright paying full retail without contract? Or did you guys got the phones with 2 year contract?

If you got the phone from telco, no choice but have to commits 2 years contract.

Expensive 1 like sapphire TG will protect phone and also be more scratch resistant then cheapo TG.
But at the end of the day it’ll still break, i am using RM30 cheapo TG and still regret that i didn’t buy a cheaper one.
Better to buy an expensive case and multiple cheapo TG for spares.

Cheap - change more frequently and slightly more brittle (immune to breakage easily)

Mid - slightly more durable, can withstand force and impact better, change less frequent

Expensive - most durable but will still be scratched / wear and tear , change probably once in 6 months.

I’ve been using a mid TG for 1-2 years tbh, until there’s a deep scratch ans my OCDness kicks in then i’m bothered to change. Also, I figured that cheap TG tends to break / shatter easily when in contact with pressure, and when it breaks, it breaks into smaller tiny bits versus a Mid / High that just cracks rather than shatter.

The choice is yours. I’m using Hoda 9H, its been good to me all these while.

I just get to know that the lightning cable need to be MFI certified if not .....the phone will go crazy consistently connect and disconnect

It does not seem to be a problem on my iPhone 6 but this iPhone 11 I think they made it be MFI proof

It is slightly heavier than all Plus sized iPhones in the past - and also heavier than last year’s XS Max, but the big battery inside makes it worth the trade off

Yeah, I have that problem too, my McDodo non-MFI certified auto disconnect cable seems to disconnect before the phone is fully charged these days, no problems with my iPad Air 3 though. Benefon, got any new recommendations? smile.gif

Lol so far mine still use with McDoDo type c auto disconnect cable for all time.
I don’t encounter that issue.
But my friend also had that issue also, on n off.
I Guess his Baseus cable issue or iPhone lightning port issue.

I bought a McDodo Type C auto disconnect as well. Tried it once but I noticed it charges much slower than the ori Apple type C one. Do you have that same issue, bro?

IMO this is the most economically way to go for. U still protect ur screen with Cheap TG. If it breaks, just get another one. The most crucial part is the case. If the case protects the screen during fall etc, cheap TG shouldnt have any prob.

Ive used original apple leather case for years, they have really good design where if ever your phone falls, the screen rarely hit first. The case acts as the first defence. Unless the accident is so hard & damaging, surely the TG hit one.

But do invest in good case for good protection. Then only invest in others. Cheap TG is workable & functional alike expensive ones

I didn’t think McDodo would be MFI certified since it’s pretty cheap compared to the likes of Targus, Belkin, etc.
