You probably won’t need this if you have a Pro Max, but the option is there if you do.

well camera and battery life (on Max) there's nothing else new to move faster. unless some new firmware comes with new bugs.

or the usual " ..if I buy from ... (outside Malaysia) possible to claim here.." queries

Does Machines carry stocks for iPhone Pro Max or iPhone Pro?

Currently not staying in Malaysia and plan to go back and buy on the spot.

But from the Machine website it seems like it can only be pre-order by paying deposit RM300 and need to wait 2-4 weeks to pay the remaining on the spot.

don't want to consider buying from Apple online? Delivery is about a week or less. Usually delivery date will be on the website so can time it on your arrival.

I had the S10+ for about two or three weeks, it’s a good phone but what drove me nuts was the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor that worked only half the time for me and the standby battery drain. The camera was pretty good and I liked how light the phone feels in the hand even though it packed a 4000mAh battery. The iPhone 11 Pro Max is as heavy as a brick by comparison! biggrin.gif

That said, the camera of the 11 Pro Max really switches seamlessly between ultra wide, wide and telephoto - and the battery life is insanely good!
*
hi what would you say? camera comparison between S10 plus and Pro Max? for years usual say on the web has been that Samsung pics too saturated but I find that the iPhone ( 7 and below anyway) kinda dark.

What other way than to make everyone replace their wired chargers with expensive wireless chargers from Apple. Welcome to the revolutionary wireless car charger which could charge your iphone is 1 1/2 hours effortlessly without messy cables. All yours for USD$129.  tongue.gif

and soon other flagships will follow as usual despite early resistance. The mid-rangers will fight on saying "hey look we still have ports"

Nobody is resisting. Wireless charging was already here on androids long long long before Apple started to introduce it. whistling.gif  What I'm saying is that, Apple rather than coming up with innovation, they are actually trying to milk every dollar out of consumers like you and me. What's the issue with having a wire charging our device since we already have wireless charging. Wont it be the best of both worlds to have both type of charging on our phones rather than one. Can you imagine how much money they could make of you since you would need to replace your wired charger at home, in your office, in your car, your gf's house etc.

But then as usual, Fags will be Fags. How can Apple do any wrong? rolleyes.gif
*
Actually the point is a portless phone not wireless only.
Soon that will become a ‘thing’.
Yes true. Apple will go all out to milk and people are ready and waiting to be milked. This year’s iPhones with stove top selling well when prior to launch, based on leaks was branded ugly.
Just like the headphone jack, never thought Samsung would remove it.

While I'm not against technological advancement, I just don't understand why they have to totally remove the wired charging. Just leave it alone until wireless fast charging tech reaches maturity stage.

To be fair to Apple, other Android manufacturers removed the very important headphone jack too. Why? To make you buy their wireless earphones and to make your favourite earphones obsolete.
*
Because the rest wanted to jump on the milking band wagon. They felt not fair Apple take all the BT earphone money. Spare some for the rest.

Biggest joke till today when first Pixel launched, Google had a field day about Apple removing the jack while they kept it. Then Pixel 2 launched ...

I said I wouldn't buy the Note 10+ but because I got it cheap at the 11.11 sale I pulled the trigger. So I'll say it here - I won't buy the S11.. unless Samsung MY officially sells the SD version here. Hopefully this time I'll stick to my own words, hahaha...
*
is ok la bro. we gadget freaks cannot keep it in. must keep having "multiple affairs" every year tongue.gif

I am already looking forward to S11, new Xioamis and hopefully a cheaper X2 Pro

Yep, I participated in the blind test as well @ Twitter. From there it shows that based on 'preferences', Samsung Note 10 wins.

But again, each to their own, I guess. iP11 Pro's camera is better for me - esp on the color rendering, bokeh, it's more to my taste thumbup.gif
*
That's interesting to hear. From the video the 11 Pro had a first round knockout based on some white balance mess up. What do you think of that?

Guess it is to each his own.

- Performance is damn good

Dislike or What Can Be Improved:-
- Signal reception is poor
- Expensive
- 90Hz screen
- USB-C
- Big notch
*
Signal reception poor? Really? Is it Telco dependent?
I think the XS family had a similar issue.

90Hz screen I feel iPhones are good enough even without but I agree about the notch. It has to go. OP7 can do it so should Apple.

Expensive... But otherwise it wouldn't be Apple

Samsung Note 10+ vs Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max

Hi sir. That's really a nice simple yet relevant review. Good for tech blur people like me. Well written. And you didn't go over the top about iOS v android stuff like some love to do. (No-lifers)

iPhone 11 pro cam took a knock on the MKBHD blind cam shoot out. Winner was S10E. But quite subjective. Design wise Sammy does a good job. Big phones which are not bulky. The Plus iPhones are quite broad and heavy in comparison.

For battery I'm waiting to see S11 and the rumoured 5K battery. But it will still drain knowing Samsung.

You write well sir. Should consider a YouTube channel what with 8 year olds making millions...

was it that bad? thought Note 3 was quite good. Android OS has improved much over the years.
