Nice, welcome to the club.

Silver's a good color - every week when I drive past the Kesas highway with the big @ss Silver Pro Max billboard, I kept thinking to myself if I should've gotten the Silver instead lol

Guys. I recently back to ios after a few years with android.

Any recommendations for a good screen protector? Any difference for a rm10 tempered glass and rm100 one?

Cheap - change more frequently and slightly more brittle (immune to breakage easily)

Mid - slightly more durable, can withstand force and impact better, change less frequent

Expensive - most durable but will still be scratched / wear and tear , change probably once in 6 months.

I’ve been using a mid TG for 1-2 years tbh, until there’s a deep scratch ans my OCDness kicks in then i’m bothered to change. Also, I figured that cheap TG tends to break / shatter easily when in contact with pressure, and when it breaks, it breaks into smaller tiny bits versus a Mid / High that just cracks rather than shatter.

The choice is yours. I’m using Hoda 9H, its been good to me all these while.

Apple Music users, do you have any issue loading Apple Music on mobile data? I'm using Maxis but it doesnt seem to load even if Mobile Data under setting is turned on. This can only be solved temporarily if i reboot the phone.

your issue is just about browsing Apple Music on mobile data? Not about streaming/downloading using mobile data?

there're additional options for streaming/downloading in Settings > Music > Mobile Data > you can choose to use mobile data for streaming and downloading as well
*
Yeah it's all turned on.

Hmm never faced this issue previously on my iPX when I was on the 3 months trial. Now fully subscribed to AM only realize that it takes longer to load versus Spotify. doh.gif

Seems to be ok now, but on and off will have this issue.

Ah so its a Maxis issue? Okay, thought there's something wrong with my phone or the software (iOS) tongue.gif

just received the hoda sp from sakurazz

a bit regret trying to install it on my own as it doesnt come with any form of guide to help the alignment during the installation. try n error few times. really no eye see.
*
Actually Hoda is one of the easiest to install, I previously had one from T-Max, need to use frame, drop glue, dust and dust only can get a perfect fit.

For Hoda, like other forummers mentioned, use the earpiece as a benchmark, start from the earpiece then slowly let it sit. Practice makes perfect.

I think at the point of time everyone should still have 100% battery health lol.

In fact my previous X was at 100% for over a year. I charge my phone only once a day.

Nah, I hate waiting. I would rather just walk to the store and buy.

Mac City has poor after sales service, I prefer MacStudio.

I did my homework, online support chat with Apple first, Apple ask to send to the nearest authorised reseller to send in to Apple store for evaluation.

When I walk in to Mac City and show the guy the manufacturing defect and he claim it’s cosmetic defect, he immediately shut me down saying cannot claim, 100% confirmed cannot claim for cosmetic issue/ defect confidently speaking English with US accent (so action and proud)

So I must walk in find the manager and mock his staff which he employed from US for incompetence and ignorance.

I standby the receipt from machines (warranty claim) and Apple (change of serial number) just in case the manager is also an arrogant and ignorant person.
Actually it’s the same colour, it’s the bright lighting at machines counter.
👍😅😂
Bought at Maxis.
*
Do it, do record it as well tongue.gif

I really dislike arrogant front liners, irregardless if you are a manager or sales staff - straight down rejecting is just pure laziness and ignorant. Also do file a complain to Mac City as well. No customers should be treated like that, never.

i got AW3 but to use AW without phone, i have to subscribe to apple music and apple music is pretty expensive and less song  bangwall.gif

unless i found someone to share the family plan with me

Its the same price as Spotify Premium. Their library is good to be honest. I just hate the loading time on Apple Music, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

U guys not worried of the beta crashing or losing your data ? It’s my only phone, i did install on my iPad.  hmm.gif

Not at all.

Been using dev beta since launch, on all my main iDevices.

Only occasionally I get some apps crashing but not the OS crashing. Its pretty stable for beta releases - I bet the Public Beta will be even more stable.
