just saw the movie. thanks to many years of FPS gaming, i did not feel dizzy or headache or whatsoever.

not to say the movie's bad (it was ok) but the trailer was WAY much better than the entire film tongue.gif

I believe most people who hated this movie have never watched the Blair Witch Project before. They have no idea how it would look like to record a movie using a hand held camera. Don't expect the screen to stay still for a single minute. My advice is go watch it (Blair Witch Project) for 10 minutes before you decide if you can handle Cloverfield.
Don't complain afterwards.

To be honest, you didn't even need to watch Blair Witch to know this.. as long as you'd have seen a home video taken by your friends or family.. for family trips or whatever.. even in those 'calm' with no 'monsters attacking' situations the camera can be so shaky! hmm.gif
I think ppl just didn't know what to expect!
oh well.

After reading a lot more comments at here as i know a lot of people already watched it.

I can see a lot of ppl not really understand the concept of the movie. A lot of them commented THIS MOVIE IS SUX/BAD and the the reason is so shaky...how to watch it, crappy story...no beginning no ending.

Bear in mind, CLOVERFIELD is not a monster movie. This movie is about no one. This video cam is belong to Rob. Is his personal video cam. Rob is going to JPN as appointed as Vice President. So his friends throw him a party and shoot using that video cam. So Hud just shoot all the way until the monster came in. He shoot and shoot until the end. Hud is recording his fren. After that incident, someone retrieve the recorded video and play it out. This is the whole idea.

So now do you all still want to comment as the story is crappy, shaky camera, where is the monster come from, this and that. Put yourself in scene. Imagine u r Hud or even Rob. This is how is it.

Will you got time to stable ur hand for the video when you are in such situation? Funny rite....

i'd like to get my hands on some concept art so i can see wat the monster & those parasites really look like.

the parasites reminds me of the bugs from Starship Troopers, u know, they have a multiply legs like insects n long snouts for mouths just like those bugs.

Depends on how you look at it. To be honest, I felt dizzy for a moment the moment we first saw the camera. But the movie gave us time to adjust to it by showing some slow scenes. Imagine if they were to start with the bang-bang, I'd be dead. LOL
