Sorry to bring this up....Cloverfield...avoid it like a plague....thats what i did...didn't see it in the cinema due to feedbacks from our dear lowyat friends.

Since the DVDrip Diamond is out...watched it on my 42incher.....the movie for me didn't suck....its was OK...except for the handycam shacking alot (they should have lessen it for public viewing)...although I also play FPS games...the camera stunt was abit over the top..shacking is something, but shacking and zooming and changing of its orientation etc. just dun go so well with most ppl.

Yup, compared with War of The World (Tom Cruise), the perspective of a party goer saving his GF was a maybe to some ppl. a waste of time nor epic encounter. For me its a good pop corn flick...my eyes were wide a wake at 5am and since the sound effects were errr loud and 'interesting'...my kids woke up to join me on the couch...first time they ever did that smile.gif....

Well, for those of you who not yet watch it and think it sucks...hehe..at least the clicks are hot...well...that counts for something right wink.gif

If there is a Cloverfield part 2...count me in...I dun think if I watched the first one in the cinema I loose RM10 bucks...more like break even....

watching it at home?

hope you guys have good subwoofers. crank mine up to 11 (spinal tap!!). awesome. but having watched the show on a THX approved cinema ( GSC 1U), i think the coolness of the movie is lost in the small screen. i dont get the shivers anymore when the clovie monster was trying to kill the people while they are on the way to the subway scene. that scene is to me the best one in the movie

i would now like to say sorry to my neighbours. their walls must be cracking now!! nice LFE channel la this movie.. everything rumbles!!! even the bewbs

watching a 700mb dvdrip of cloverfield? HAHAHA. tongue.gif

I'm sorry but you guys have just missed the chance to watch it as it was intended - in a big-ass theater. (unless of course, you have a big-big-ass home theater system at home).

I'm still gonna get the ahem dvd though. It was a great thrill ride.
