Branding bullying sucks, as sheep get carried away. Almost 14 months ago, a Newegg ad on PC Gamer USA (Malaysian version is terrible) was advertising the Athlon X2 4600+ for RM2000++!!! |

3 months is for X4 only. I'd rather see how X2 performs.
If X4 is LAWLOHMYF'KINGAWDBEATSPENRYN, prepare to save up cash to buy Core 2 Quads in garage sales. Otherwise, wait for the new X2s in 2008. They will bring at AMD archis to at least par, or even faster than C2Ds clock by clock. The dual-core section is still here to stay, and Penryn Duo would have a hard time being priced low when there's so much Conroe stocks not yet dumped.  In short: Buying now is the best. You get to use a PC for 6 months. That's priceless |
