It depends how is ur tooth extraction. Last time i did wisdom tooth surgery, dentist say will give me MC, i tell him my Boss may not approve, but he say must take MC bcoz loss a lot of blood. Ya true, after surgery, next day very very tired. Ya must take MC.

if im not wrong, dentist don't have MC to give, they can only give timeslip, which prove that time u are having dental services

they cannot prove u loss too much blood causing headache or what cz they are not doctor.. they only take care of your teeth

don't be stupid. dentist MC is just as valid as any GP MC.

yes they can't prove how much blood you lose but they can prove that you had an infected tooth and had to drill your jaw bone off, and stitch the gums back together making you unable to talk or eat properly for the next 24-48 hours.

Section 13 talking about registration of dentist

by right if you undergo wisdom tooth surgery , dentist usually can give up to 3 days MC .

wisdom tooth surgery requires opening of gingival flap and guttering of bone . which can cause loss of blood and also post operative swellings and discomfort .

2-3 days MC is reasonable and should be given .

best thing to do is after tooth extraction or any dental procedure and the pain that comes along is to see panel clinic to get immediate mc.

as long as they acknowledge the claim from clinic with valid receipt and medical slip for mc.

the specialist you referring about jaw recon is ORAL SURGEON @ ORAL & MAXILLOFACIAL SURGEON.

dentist aka dental surgeon can give MC for any procedures including but not limited to dental extractions, dental alveolar infections, periodontal surgery, root canal treatment.

i think specialist in having oral surgery is called dental surgeon. you can always google its not that hard.....

Actually normal dentist and dental surgeon got difference one. Normal dentist I never seen do surgery for wisdom teeth removal. They always refer you to GH or other private specialists

So unless this auntie did her tooth extraction and some normal dentist (which I highly doubt), her MC should hold

The girl at counter explained that no mc will be given for scaling, only for extraction. Then the guy said if u dont give me.mc, i go somewhere else.
