replays wait next month?
i think it will be fair to release those replays that the "Malaysia Winner" are not playing in..... organizers, do you agree? since the reason you witholding the replays is scared that malaysia representative will have disadvantage for the coming ACG, keep the champions replay, release the other replays, |

Anyway, kudos to local dota community, at least do accept our opinion about the qualifier, i do feel relieve as chances is give to everyone.
For the Event about the RM1800. Let me tell you, they do need to earn some money. First, if there is 2 x marshall, food and transport. Renting the PC, let me say 20 PC's at least. But reason 3 is kinda bullshit la...3. Due to our limited contacts , we could only managed to get Cybertime as our venue for this tournament. Bear in mind that we are not only renting the PCs , we are also renting their technician services to fix / replace mulfunctioning equipment that happens frequently in an overheated CC due to the huge crowd. All this requires cash resources and we can only get it from participants registration fees. To correct your word, we obtain the Cybertime technician standby services just in case any PC went wrong. And do remember dont use the reason equiment faulty due to huge crowd, this kinda unreasonable, use better explanation next time. Well, just to let you all know, hosting a event anywhere, which using electricity and hosting place just for rm1800 is dirt cheap. Need to understand that getting venue in a short time, is not easy. Let me tell you the rate is cheap, you may do the survey yourself, renting a cafe / venue with PC figures is how much. Well..good luck to all, if still wanna join AWCG, still can go to singapore directly with own expenses. This post has been edited by guardioo: Jul 10 2007, 08:58 AM |

QUOTE(assemble @ Jul 9 2007, 06:40 AM) Just one question, why is it teams that are interested in participating need to pay the rm100 registration fees, you said that the team that won will be fully sponsored by SMM and In2, and I don't see any reason why any registration fees are needed here since you guys wont give out any prizes in terms of cash and trophy. 18 teams, thats a total of rm1800. Do you mind to explain how this rm1800 will be use to fund the qualifier? Cybertime being one of the biggest lanshop in Malaysia and being the sponsor of the best team around are not willing to fork up some of the pcs to held a qualifier? y tis guy so horny in putting flames==That is a total joke. Unless you tell us that the money will be use to pay the marshall who will be very dedicated to host the event. Plus another point is why arent any other teams allowed to join this qualifier? I remember there are another quite decent cybertime team around, and I dont see them in the list. The fact is, if you are charging rm100 per team, then it should be open to public, correct me if I'm wrong, I just think that this qualifier is out of the point where it had been too commercialized instead of for the well being of the community. |
