Not really. Just make sure the source you're downloading are trustable. So far i've not encountered any problems. Usually virus get into the phone thru BT transmission.

Oh, thanks I could always do a Hard Reset if things go back, just that I would need to reconfigure everything

By the way, if I update my N70 through NSU but somehow screw up during the process... Can I save my phone by doing a Hard Reset, or do I need to send it to a service center?

Try the rest first (restart, off & on, hard reset) & let service centre to be the last option.

One more question if you don't mind Are both editions (Normal and ME) of N70 running on the same platform? Is it S60 2nd Edition or S60 3rd Edition? Confused liao because I read somewhere that ME is 3rd Edition

2nd edition ,N70 is second ,any problem just post here ,we r n70 expert

I just did a Hard Reset by pressing the 3 keys, but the phone won't start after that. Any ideas why? Or is there a specific way while doing a Reset? Do I need to hold down all the 3 keys during the process?

I also decided to run NSU again and chose to reinstall my firmware... Guess what?

it is my fiance phone...mine just 6630...
wanna ask bout the N70....
when i plug it to PC using DKU-2 cable...
the PC detect..but the PC suite for N70 cannot detect...
an i also cant update the firmware coz the updater software cant detect my phone also...
why ar???
