Tammy Abraham has equalled Marcus Rashford's best Premier League season so far by scoring 10 goals. It's only the 9th of November.

Pool escaping a penalty when there was a clear handball incident which lead to an advantage.

Sigh. Why do we never get these sad.gif

Certainly looks like it at the moment. City definitely don't deserve to be 2 down though.

Well, bernado Silva handball first followed by arnold, but half of MC players complained and stop running back to their half, they shouldnt stop unless referee stop the game

Second goal no offside after the line was draw

First goal was indeed unstoppable, but never should've happened.

I'm not so sure about the second either, even with the lines he looked borderline off imo, especially his upper body / chest. With how those 'magic lines' can be drawn during VAR checks (similar to Sheffield's first goal yesterday which was somehow disallowed for half a boot length), he could easily be off. But of course no checks occurred and we'll never know, this is what bugs me.

Whenever VAR comes into play, all goals / offsides come under 200% more scrutiny, and refs are free to decide which teams are on the receiving end of such checks. If there was no sudden VAR check on azpi's potential equaliser vs pool, would it have been disallowed? Of course not, as the linesman didn't even flag for mount being 'marginally' off.

So who decides these checks? Do we need like what, more than 5 players in the ref's ear? The managers screaming at the assistants? Does the ref selectively decide what to check and what not? It's such a horrible mess with certain teams always getting them in their favour.

Officials will decide what goes and what doesn't, it's so easily manipulated it's insane.

main problem of var is inconsistent decisions.. technology it self is good, however the referees using it too stupid.

im not the one who will say VAR is not good.

but i agree with you guys this VAR is indeed not consistent. I watched the goldrick goal's vs spurs and it was marginally offside. even the commentator said it was very harsh to Sheffield utd.

I think VAR should be use the same as hockey. introduce it as a challenge and only the captain/manager can raised it to the referee. If the challenge is indeed correct they can keep it as their video referral later. maybe need to tweak a bit if not it can easily being manipulated by the manager/captain.

Aye. I didn't see anyone feeling bad for us last week when Firmino's armpit was deemed offside. But sure LiVARpool rocks on I guess.
