Guess the board prefer to wait until the next window to make signings. Can see the reason imo, it’s better to make prolific signings (Sancho, Chilwel) rather than go for short term solutions (Mertens, Cavani).

But seriously though, with current injuries in the team, the board is gambling quite a risk in this window. Falling out of top 4 and them prolific signings wouldn’t even look at us i guess

I think the board and Roman going full support on academy players upgrade to first team players and will buy only when there is really good players available at reasonable price. With most of our highly paid seniors players at end of season’s contract, it will bring down the overall total wages expenses of the club next season onwards. Look like we need to lower our expectations going forwards, hopefully we don’t endure like Arsene era promoting young players but no end results.

He can play striker, no 10, left+right winger

While the fans have evey right to be frustrated...my expectation on lampard remains the same.

He knew what he will face when he took the job in the summer. Dont see why the top 4 blame shud go to the board.

This i agree too. Would like to see how will he perform. I remember in an interview or an article he said he can play as striker too. But coming back from injury i dont expect much but he got so much potential based on last season's performance.

I think it's the right call to drop Kepa from the starting XI. Lampard & Caballero need to light a fire of competition under Kepa's a$$ to finally wake him up!
Hopefully, he can take it positively & learn a lesson and come back stronger than ever
