Ironically one of the Sunday service, the pastor actually talked about the verses that you just gave.
So far, the pastor sound quite promising because he got show us the verses in bible through biblegateway and explained to us.
But at the same time , I have to say the following are what the pastor preached a lot.
We believe that the Bible, consisting of Old and New Testaments only, is verbally inspired by the Holy Spirit, is inerrant in the original manuscripts, and is the infallible and authoritative Word of God.
We believe that the one triune God exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Adam, created in the image of God, was tempted by Satan, the god of this world, and fell. Because of Adam’s sin, all men have guilt imputed, are totally depraved, and need to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit for Salvation.
We believe that Jesus Christ is God, was born of a virgin, baptized by John the Baptist in the Jordan River, crucified as the Lamb of God, rose again from the dead, and ascended to heaven, where He is presently exalted at the Father’s right hand.
We believe that salvation consists of the remission of sins, the imputation of Christ’s righteousness, and the gift of eternal life, received by faith alone, apart from works.

Truth or falsehood is judged by the Word of God through the Spirit of God that have been given to Christian believers. Not being water-baptized or not living a sinless life does not prevent a Christian believer from being saved from hell, especially a Gentile Christian, eg a repentant Gentile Christian drug-addict or HIV+ sufferer who came to believe in Jesus Christ. Only faith in Jesus Christ saves from hell. Any teaching that takes away from this fact is a false teaching. .......

MATTHEW.4:4 = 4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”
.
HEBREWS.4: = 12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

EPHESIANS.6:17 = 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
.
JOHN.6: = 63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
64 But there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him. 65 And He said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.”

JOHN.14: = Jesus Promises Another Helper
15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. ...
26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
JOHN.15: = 26 “But when the [c]Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. 27 And you also will bear witness, because you have been with Me from the beginning.
JOHN.16: = . 8 And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: ...
13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. 15 All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.
