sounds very much like a scam to me.

2nd time, i just hang up

My parents went there and basically it's some HYIP.

They just want to sell you their durian trees at nearly 20 grand each. You don't even own the land. Mainly managed by a bunch of angmohs.

Wait until 1 decade then only see the fruits of your labor

Now that you mention this, I received this call. The event is held in Midvalley. Would a scam be held in such a venue?
I did not attend because requirement to bring spouse and time of event. Someone needs to look after baby.
They did not ask me to pay anything, just eat, give feedback survey. So maybe yours is scam but mine did not sound like it.

I wouldn't say it's a scam, but you're better off putting your money elsewhere in more worthwhile options.

What?!?!? Another new level scam? If the trees die who responsible? If the land is not private or is private and not theirs or if it was Gov owned, then how? Whats the return rate of durians per tree?

I dunno why these people keep doing this scams and people still fall for this. I gotta give them (scammers) for creativity though.

How do you know its a scam?

I received the same call today 0320225188. Called me to attend durian event at mid valley and its by invitation only for spouse. Compulsory to bring husband only. I also wonder why only for spouse. And vedy good in speaking English until i can't even understand what she talking about. already 2 times receive the same call . Dont know what purpose they have

Went there because got rm200 voucher. At the end stuck to my gun.

Its just same old tactic, just different "product".. whereas in this case is durian.
Previously like fish farming, orchard, palm oil etc. Can lurk in fbi section.
Let me guess, the durian will be planted somewhere in kelantan/remote areas.

1 more tactics is they terus go ur house, tekan bell and try to sell u durian, then act pity tolong beli semua la. I want to go back rest. Their price really slaughter 99. 2kg per biji they told u is 5-6kg. No timbang.

They start their business again, just received their call wif number 018-4626813....they end the call once know my income is below 13k, obviously aim for the rich fool.

Same for those medical checkup. They call you ask u to attend free medical checkup
