1st time saw forumer so concern about HDD to boost performance while gaming...anyway, using raptor do boost performance etc, but not transparent during gaming.
my friend do own raptor, really quick while boot windows and game loading.but not increase frame rates at all...

brother ianho wor..he sure know wad he is up to de.haha.tak mungkin he cant afford higher GC wad.

actually it would be a real waste getting the 8600GT for the 3rd card. the 3rd card is only used to power up a 2nd monitor which will not be used for gaming etc. even a 7100 is more than enough for that task. he already has his GTX SLI to push his 30" ACD.

if he desire, he could even get a 2900xt for his 20" ACD , but the point is, is that worth just to let 2900xt to handle normal windows desktop

If u look at the following pix of my rig, u will understand that the "small" cards r meant for my small 20" monitor on the right side. All I wanted was a DX10 compliant card to power my 2nd monitor so I can c my MSN, email, system stats n all.












The main 30" monitor is powered by these monsters.

New all in 1 HP printer, copier, scanner, fax. ATI 2400Pro to finally get my 3rd gfx system up n running. Nice black RAM heatspreaders for my troubleshooting rams. N a nice pci slot exhaust fan. A USB peltier drinks warmer n cooler. Oh yeah, also an issue of this months PC.COM mag with the special metal box. So nice the box, though i never read PC.COM I bought it coz the box so nice.

ianho, just how I wonder how many hours u spend in one day with your PC, is it more than the time u spend with your 'real' wife

jz bought a 2nd hand dell 22" today...

erm...using OP 1000W??
