Upfront this is not as good as The Raid. Nevertheless still a good watch especially if you're yearning for an unhinged "Hard boil" flick. When the action drops, get ready for brutal wall to wall action. Tom Hardy is great as the crooked cop caught in the middle of an all out gang war. The story is pretty bland and convoluted at times, once Gareth Evans start his fancy camera work, let the symphony of mayhem assault your eyeballs.
My second favorite action mayhem of 2025 after Back in Action😄😆✌️✌️
Me still cannot believe that is The Mask co-star miss Cameron Diaz back in buzz after 1 decade of maternity sabbatical with family🤠😎
This is a grounded Korean John Wick. The first half plays out like the first John Wick movie where protagonist going after a spoiled mob boss son. Then it change gear to conspiracy theory behind hero's brother murder mystery. Lotsa punching in the face action and rather good narrative hook to it. 7 episodes of 30-ish minutes of easy binge.
Guess things getting a bit formulaic! It's not as impressionable as the last few seasons. Not saying it's all lost cause, Spider Rose and Zeke got Religious are the highlights for me. To a certain degree, it's the same problem with Black Mirror where you just go through the trappings of anthology narrative.

Finally got time to finish the season. Quite fond of it but can't help it there's no way to contain everything from the dense 19 graphic novel volumes. Surprised William Shakespeare didn't make it cause he is the bookend for the comic book ending.
At least a good enough adaptation that does justice to the original work. Season 1 still the better watch and it's a miracle they get to complete the series with such prestige production quality given the niche appeal.
A very well made nuclear drama that seems very legit. The attack being told from three different perspective. The movie present the protocol comes to facing a nuclear attack which marred by bureaucratic players and systems. It painted how ill prepared any countries are should a nuclear attack happened. Guess the myth of shooting down an airborne nuclear warhead is all just a coin tossed with the current available US arsenal. So retaliation is the only game on the table.
