Omg, come with android in box but had to work out to make it work properly? Sounds like huawei need to push an update to fix it

Are you aware about the trade war between us and china and huawei is in the entity list which means cannot work with US company. Therefore I don't think you will see Google apps appearing in Huawei phone anytime soon. This is not their fault, is not that google or huawei wanted this but it is the US issue.

then i see Mate 30 still come with android, i thought the ban was lifted.. so it seems Huawei just slapped in their last chance with android before the ban is 100% enforced isn't it

Already played with the demo set last Thursday & still fall in love with it. The build quality is superb & now EMUI is even more polished. Really like the UI now. But there's a few cons that i didn't like though
1. Working in plantation sector & surrounded by sandy surface, i don't think the screen will survived long enough with me without screen protector
2. Major turn off with me is no 90Hz refresh rate but I don't think Huawei can do anything with it considering the usage of waterfall/horizon display; or they just holding back. I was about to pull my trigger on OP 7T Pro because of 90Hz screen if it not because I'm concern about face unlock. Huawei implementation is very good I love every bit of it.
3. Lower max resolution than M20Pro, but not too serious for me

For me, I'll definitely will buy it when my budget is enough. No GMS is no problem for me.

For me is different, I have used OP 7 Pro but I sold that the came back to Huawei. The only good thing about OP is the screen which is the 90Hz refresh rate but this phone, Mate 30 pro is much better in any other area especially the camera. OP camera is still not up to par. 90Hz refresh rate is not a big deal for me, as I don't play much game. I am very happy with my Mate 30 pro now.

I agree on that. That's why I hold my purchase of OP7T Pro even I really wanna feel the 90Hz smothness, LOL. Btw, care to share your experience using Mate 30 Pro? I might participate in the 2nd pre-order.
