At last I can, then someone keen to buy, so I sold it out.
I can after I downgrade firmware to previous version. Forgot which version it was.
I do feel a bit wasted for selling such a great piece of hardware, but I got my priorities.
Since my unit wasn't any special set other than got it for 1999, others got extra another 1 year and some freebies.
So it's better to let it go sooner. And also I have few other phone lying around unused.
Might as well use them. Now PKP can't go out to take photo too.
And I'm not phone reviewer. I just like to try things.

Apparently it might come with their own HarmonyOS so yeah, I'll probably try it at some point but the discount quantum must be the same as what I got for the Mate 30 Pro - at least 40%

When I was still using the Mate 30 Pro, I had a Poco X3 NFC and Samsung M51 in my drawer, both still yet to be unboxed So while I also feel a bit sayang to sell such a good phone (even without GMS) but didn't want to spend another RM60 on a new tempered glass so I decided to let it go since buying it at RM1999 allowed me to minimise my losses even on a month old phone. Sigh, I also miss traveling and taking photos - the Mate 30 Pro would have done an excellent job at that!

for me i love Apps gallery environment more than Playstore or Appstore, as they have tight signup but less core demanding compare with current two giant, no doubt even huawei current emui 10.1 still have plenty to touch up or tune but i still support them hongmeng.
i don't like Playstore n appstore 30% inapp purchase.

That guide is written in Chinese, I used translate to understand but somehow got some step missing, due to nature of how most guide work. That listing guide hasn't. So I'm confused. Stop the said step.
I tried various guide from early stage to latest. So basically the step is similar.

they asking for too much, even total unrelated to apps (now IOS) purchase, they force us to use their in apps purchase (IOS does check ur website and even call you)
Wechat angpow need to pay IOS 30% for each angpow, that why wechat pull out from IOS but IOS offer them different deal.
FB refuse to use inapp purchase and their apps get rejected.
FB getting piss, use IOS inapps purchase but when user make payment, FB written there 30% of payment will be pay to IOS as comm, FB get BANNED.
Apps Gallery is free, allow white label apps and they also offer profit sharing via Apps-Ads where android n IOS don't.

i think need to roll back to original firmware only can sideload the GMS.
since already updated to the latest, the software mentioned is not compatible....wtf...now im wondering how to roll back the firmware to original state n redo the sideload again....haizzz

PS: i watch some utube channel on sideload GMS, most of them is still under original state firmware....the 0929 Chinese video i think is using the old firmware as well but i think he did not mention earlier.

no, it's not working for me and I reset redo few times before moving to different guide. the only success when I downgrade firmware to previous version.


no need original version as I was already update few times already before. Downgrade using Huawei app calles HiSuite on your pc. Tho can only downgrade to previous version only.

Btw might be able to return back to oldest firmware but idk how. Maybe can ask SC to do so.
