Exactly why it got my attention. Also the shortest route sounds interesting too.

100/300/500/800mbps all comes with 50mbps upload only, and they seems doesn't have the ping based routing, as I remember this is one of their selling point, they used to advertise how good their ping based routing comparing to path based routing, pointed out shortest path doesn't mean lowest ping, due to everyone using that path, this is one of the key makes them unique in the market, but now I don't see it in their website and now they claims "our technology finds the shortest route"

Yes that is their selling point supposedly. But to be honest, a tech that find a shortest route is still a compelling feature. The 50mbps up is kinda a bummer though.

Found this in their malaysian site. Quote:
"Priding ourselves an innovative Internet Service Provider, we’ve pioneered the removal of restrictive industry practices like international bandwidth caps and traffic shaping. At the same time, we implement best practices such as latency-based routing, ensuring you get exactly what you pay for – an ultra-fast internet access."

Routing is based off latency like what they are offering in singapore.

If under by TM infrastructure, then get rid about it.
Unless it is under their own infrastructure or by TNB, then can be consider.

If you have any issued for the network connections, u need to contact viewqwest.

So viewqwest will contact to TM (because using their infrastructure).. If TM play dirty trick to viewqwest, then viewqwest cannot do anything to you.

Is that the best threat TM can issue against others for not taking their Unifi plans on their HSBB network?

If yes, we are happy to await them to get sued out of business and exit this industry.

TNB will be happy to acquire all their HSBB assets if they dare play foul or practice anti competitive move against other wholesale buyers.

One good reason for the government to remove their role in doing wholesale because they dare play foul.

Do you dare TM?

Celcom, DiGi, Maxis and ViewQWest are now waiting to see you do it so they can SUE you kaw kaw.

Unifi unfair early termination policy:

user posted image

I was cheated into signing up for the 30M upgrade after paying RM160 for a mere 10Mbps lines for years and dragged into this dishonest silent amendments of their new early termination policy which got me locked up for another 2 years.

My contract ended last year already and I thought hey paying RM160 for 10Mbps all this time, why not attempt to switch to other ISP and get 3X the speed(30M) with half the price, they enticed me to take up the Super Value RM89 plan since my home only has VDSL2 for high-rise HSBB. I signed up not knowing that they silently chagned their termination policy and got STUCK!

This TM is very DISHONEST company, I won't even think twice to make the switch to another ISP when my contract over next time.

I've set my eyes on Viewqwest.

Well the fine print is there for you to read on their website. Unless the salesperson is making false claims regarding the contract, they are not at fault.

What fine print?

There was no fine print or even a website entry or FAQ on the Super Value 2019 30M plan at all when I signed up.

You don't suka suka say there's a fine print. The TM counter girl only took my thumb print and proceeded to upgrade my plan and lowered the monthly pricing plan for me saying it's just another 2 years contract renewal.

The changes for the 2 years remaining months penalty was a dishonest move that wasn't made aware to their customers. It was always RM500 1-off penalty.

You damn TM staff proud of this scam move? I'm not buying anything TM after this SPIT on you! Serve you right if all your customers move away.

You got the NERVE to accuse and blame your customers? What kind of company is this?

I just CANNOT accept this new pay your remaining months early termination policy because the modem you gave me is CRAP hardware. No new re-wiring work was involved since my building only had copper in-wall wiring, just plug and play with new update to the account and I got my increased speed.

Why do I have to pay thousands as compensation if I terminate early? RM89 x 24mths is how much? Your piece of crap TP-Link modem costs how much? CLEARLY your plan is an outright SCAM.

That is basically how any plans with contract works. If terminate early, there is a penalty. If you go to any other country, its the same thing. You should have asked the person at the counter regarding all this before proceeding.

How much does the crap useless VR1200V modem by TP-Link bulk costs as I asked?

Which country? In singapore there are no contract plans which you pay higher monthly fees but without ties.

Oh BTW, seems Viewqwest also follows TM dirty trick.

This is their early termination policy. That means Celcom has the best and most fair policy among all HSBB players now.Better if you live in under Sabah's Celcom Timur network.

You think your wholesale subscribers such as Maxis and Celcom or even Viewqwest will allow you to unfairly manipulate and sabotage their traffic? They have experts to monitor the line too.

It's a good opportunity for them to sue TM out of business if they catch you doing unfair business practices to your own advantage. TM might also lose the right to do wholesale HSBB after this.

Yeah, Maxis seems to be only one which doesn't have the Balance Payment penalty. Just RM500 for termination if you don't take their mesh wifi thingy.

I don't use ISP provided routers as I know its pretty much useless. Prolly not worth much plus its made worst by TM's customisation of the firmware.

Try look at Western countries, pretty much the same termination policy with Malaysia fixed line broadband.

Comparing Malaysia and Singapore is not fair as the cost to roll out HSBB in Singapore is a lot lower compared to Malaysia. You have to remember, TM has monopoly over the fixed line broadband market.

Why always gauge yourself against the West? Not just Singapore, why not compare with Thailand or advanced far east nations such as Japan, Taiwan or South Korea?

You know Google Fibre expansion is already halted and slowed down. Verizon is utter failure.

Aiyo, what's the big problem? Don't want to pay more than RM500 for termination, just got for Maxis or TIME. Both also better than TM in some people's opinion.

Upgrade free.
Early termination only charge RM500.

QUOTE

You may request a speed upgrade at no charge, at any time with no renewal on the minimum subscription period.

Can I downgrade my speed?
You may request a speed downgrade at any time subject to a downgrading fee of RM50 with no renewal on the minimum subscription period.

What if I terminate the service within the contract period?
You will be charged a termination fee of RM500 (non-prorated), which will be reflected in your final bill.

Viewqwest early termination policy is also same as TM. Pay remaining months if you cancel early.

Only Celcom, Maxis and Time Fibre have fair early termination policies. Just pay RM500 and you're let off debt free.

Ya if routing quite good then price higher is reasonable.
Try this link https://codehz.github.io/pingms/
And this link http://cloudping.today/
And if possible please test this link also thanks. https://www.nfoservers.com/networklocations.php
For some worldwide server latency test.
