Just recalled last time when i broke my iphone7+ while i was in Japan and it was out of warranty. They offered me a replacement at discount rate. Same phone but was made for our regional country so no permanent shutter sound. I asked the girl why you guys have "Malaysia" phones in Japan. She said there's lot of tourist come to Japan to buy iPhone, many Malaysian too. it's much cheaper so occasionally they have phones in many regions in stock.

Next time people go buy iPhone in Japan, may be they can ask for different region - could get lucky.

 
seriously im still trying to get used to the pro max without 3D touch... sometimes i find it dumb to hold for a few seconds and nothing happen, and to tap hold again for few seconds.. nothing happen..

yeah.. first time saw such design and just bought to try it. since only cost RM49 after discount comparing to the UAG RM39 which is quite bulky on a pro max. 

nope i couldn't    because the battery is too damn powerful and people are unwilling to let it go

I’d love to have a case with a kickstand but the only ones I found when I was searching online before I got my phone were either transparent ones or with a cut out hole for the logo - both of which I’m trying to avoid

Yeah, I came from an XS Max and a OP7 Pro before this - both phones also not light. Still feel this one is heavy.

But the battery life more than makes up for it.

OP7 Pro battery wont last as double long as XI Pro Max...that the trade off.... but OP had quick charger then XI Pro Max but are you going to bring your charger and power bank all the time with you when go out

Unless he turn off 90ghz screen rate ...that might save much of its battery.... which i doubt anyone want to do it with OP7 pro

The battery life is really amazing. I’m now charging the phone on alternate days - in fact, for light usage, can probably even stretch it to three days but I won’t do that - might cause some unnecessary anxiety hahaha...
You can easily get at least 2000 if you were to sell it outside but yeah, trading it in is less troublesome.

Just as what it says on paper, 30% more, no hidden gimmick, it’s 30% more than the xs max per say

Jokes aside and a huge 9 cents from me, if you are happy with your xs max and not suffering from battery insufficient, by all means just hold till the next iphone (regardless design change or not), the current ip11 pro max is a tad better than the xs max, very often I don’t feel like I’m using a new phone, what I get on the xs max is exactly what I get here. Faster? Meh...smoother? Meh...faster Face ID (lol?) mehhhhh...

I’m one of those who doesn’t suffer from battery, morning till evening my phone is always 65% when I’m home (80% when I’m on mate 20x as main phone), now wit the pro max, back home with 85%, I’ll charge it any how...

1 best thing I get from the pro max? The 18w charge is fantabulously good coz I don’t need to allocate 2+ hours for a full charge, the 18w charges x2 the speed of the 5w, but again, just buy a 18w and you’re set.

Nothing more, camera is the least important imo, the xs max is good enough, the ultra wide lens is cool for a week and then mehhh back to normal lens, coz the ultra wide 0.5x pulls the images long and wide, u don’t really get a real photograph from it, more like a cool to have feature..

Light context is out of the question for normal smart phone user.... once you turn on the mobile data, confirm the drain would be more significant compare to using WIFI ....that what i notice this few days

Problem with OP is the big gap in price difference between official and AP sets - oh, and also limited third party accessories
