My first impression? This phone is seriously heavy!

Ya, was holding it on one hand vs my wife’s XS Max on the other. I can really feel the difference! But my wife said it’s not too noticeable for her. Maybe she’s hinting already, hahaha...

The battery life on the Pro Max is just superb. Though by looking at the Battery app doesnt give me a detailed benchmark because its based on 24 hours rather than last plugged off from full charge - on a daily use, I can really feel the difference.

Yesterday plugged from charger at 8am, by 11pm I still have 65% of battery left. On normal work day, I still have 30% juice remaining at the end of the day, thats inclusive of 1 hour Netflix streaming, constant calls to vendors and colleagues, and always-on Whatsapp Web.

Such a beast of a phone.

Finally, my sandstone case are here.... shed so much plastic and tpu rubber now im feeling lighter and closer to holding the phone with sandpaper feel    but comes at the cost of having my tempered glass as my front line instead of case lips....

Yes, the 6S is still smooth as butter but I’d be wary about buying a brand new one now, considering it will most likely not support the next iOS version bro. But if you got a good deal on it then it’s fine. Still a good phone!

I wouldn't worry, personally. If the 5s (released 2012) can get updated all the way to 12.4.2 in 2019, then the 6s/SE (released 2016) will probably end up on iOS 16 in 2022 before it's considered EOL.

For this, i like the case for the bland back (I never like clear back due to OCD of dust), ultra thin feel and sand paper grip plus it is possible for one hand used.... i have been through many case that i brought recently from ringke fusion X to spigen liquid air and even UAG but i feel it makes my phone alot bigger and slightly heavy then it already have... one had used is totally impossible for this case i have....

Any concern other than the warranty issue?
should i be worried with the malaysia cellular band not suitable with iphone US set?

I assume we have lots of authorise dealer with service centre in Malaysia. Eg switch, machine. If let's say switch rejected warranty claim for US set, we can stil try our luck with machine or other switch SC, no?

Japan iPhone is the cheapest outside of US. Depend on Currency rate, a 256GB Pro Max is 900-1000 Cheaper than Malaysia. Japan's sale tax exemption applied for tourist, so that's the price you pay, right in Apple Store in Japan, just show them the passport.

In US, 8% sale tax is the norm, adding the tax on the same handheld save you RM200-300.

As i replied in OP post, Apple devices are great in pricing as oppose in Malaysia if you can hunt for a discount, epecially the online store in official Amazon and BHphoto but you will need a physical US address and credit card to make online purchase while you were there, so it's not that simple.
