Err. So far I read is need to activate in sg with sg sim on iPhone. Is iPhone also need to be sg set too?

Nope. According to others source I read about. MY set doesn’t have the ECG app in the watch itself. So you can’t even activate it.

Hmmmm.... that’s abit troublesome then. But if iPhone need to be ECG available region. I guessing with US set HK set you might still able to activate ECG with AW sg set in sg? Hmm..

Do you mind share with me how you activated it? Are you using MY set iPhone?

If you need cellular on the watch then I guess will be extra pay for that e-sim. It’s only benefit if you always not having the phone with you together.

But if you’re saying “using with phone” you no need to pay extra $ for the network. You can use it as a normal smartwatch Bluetooth connects to your phone. If you out of your phone’s Bluetooth range, your watch can no longer receive any notification.

If I’m not mistaken, as long as you have any Bluetooth wireless headset, you will be able connect to your watch via Bluetooth and listen music from there. Not necessary must Apple headset products.

Ok, so for your case. Cellular version would be the best choice for you PROVIDED Malaysia telco will offer the cellular plan for Apple Watch.

For your second question, yes. Apple Watch can track all your activities including your heartbeat, distance, altitude. Until your watch get back to your phone, your jogging details only will be synced and stored into the phone.

And since you’re asking about Apple Music, you need to download musics into your watch before you disconnected from the phone and go for jogging.

Currently there isn’t any telco offering any plan for the Apple Watch. But someone here mentioned high chance the cellular maybe available in Malaysia.

It can link to any brand of wireless headphone/earphone. All you need to do is turn on your pairing mode on your headset and connect it from your watch.

It should be activate AW in Sg with own Apple ID and Apple ID can be any country based.

Apple ID privacy issue you mentioned is not to forget to log out your friend’s Apple Watch after logged in and activated ECG?

Nike edition is having more watch faces (wallpaper), Nike running app and Nike sport band. Other than that all the same. Unless you’re going for gold colour then you got to get AW standard edition. Nike doesn’t have gold colour or neither others material such as stainless steel, aluminum, ceramic.

Pm you ya~ just curious. If you purchased it in sealed box. After I linked to my Apple ID and use it for let say few months. I might going sg next year. So I still can activate ecg next year in sg right? Once activated, it will stay “activated” linked to my Apple ID. So whenever I restore the watch or get another latest watch (with ecg region) next year, I still able to activate back the ecg on new watch?
