QUOTE(jyu_bonk @ Nov 2 2019, 06:47 PM) Mine charge to full overnight, start wearing to work @ 7am. Heavy use today, as it is new a lot of thing to explore. Like to play with ECG lol. Listen to songs using watch, answering calls and calling people all through watch. Now 55%. With whole day always on display too?For me, it’s tremendously good given the fact I use it all day today. ![]() |

QUOTE(desreg2913 @ Nov 13 2019, 02:42 PM) 1. as per what ppl say, use your US friend apple ID to activate ECG, then use his ECG to activate the ECG on your phone, then use back your own apple ID to login back to the same phone and activate it. this the hack that i heard. For the first answer, let’s say I go sg/US get the watch and activate with my Apple ID. Once I return Malaysia and pass the watch to my friend, I will log out my Apple ID from the watch and my friend’s phone with his own Apple ID will pair to the watch (the watch won’t get reset still)2. better check the model... its because the bandwidth doestn support it... like my aw4 cannot because its from north america Is this what you mean? |

QUOTE(realitec @ Nov 13 2019, 06:45 PM) Hope anyone can help. I rely reminders alot in the past, now depending on 3rd party reminder apps which has alot of advertisements in it. You mean no more reminder notification pop out in the watch? If you go and open reminder app on the watch you still can see all your reminders? |

QUOTE(louis198920 @ Nov 14 2019, 08:27 AM) mm.. interesting.. change apple ID but still on the same phone that paired with the watch, can give this a try, logically as long as the watch is not reset, should work? Not really sure. I was planning ask someone in sg buy and activate the ecg via his phone (of course is his Apple ID). Then he will pass me the watch after back to Malaysia. Wondering will the ecg stay activated once I sign out his Apple ID and log in mine pair with my phone. |

QUOTE(louis198920 @ Nov 14 2019, 11:41 AM) er.. if you do like that, definitely wont work. To re-pair your apple watch, you either need to: I see. So you must be in ecg enabled country activate yourself with your own Apple ID. No point to just ask friends activate on behalf of you. 1) Unpair from his iPhone - this will reset the watch as well 2) Reset the Apple Watch - this will have activation lock once you try to pair with your phone as long as the watch reset, then ECG needs to be reactivated when setting up, because it checks your Apple ID for the activation flag. |

Just curious. If you bought sg Watch from someone second hand or what in Malaysia. You can still activate the ecg if you visit to sg later on or any others ecg enabled country? No need to unpair/reset the watch in sg to activate that ecg?

QUOTE(abdmumin14 @ Dec 11 2019, 04:23 PM) So I guess that answers the question that we can actually use the service with our own watch, not limited to watch bought from maxis. Thank you Yes. I subscribed maxis today. Free 3 months subscription and rm18 per month afterwards. I got my watch from sg and able to use maxis on it. Tried running just now. 30 minutes with Apple Music on and running app tracking heartbeats and GPS. Replied some iMessages and WhatsApp. Took battery around 15% |

So to conclude of getting a full features of AW, you only need to activate ECG in the enabled region. Other than this, all others features are available once you activated your AW regardless in any country?
Just to make sure only ECG need to do it in sg and not to miss out any feature then need to go back sg again. Haha |

QUOTE(yankiat @ Dec 26 2019, 02:02 PM) all i can see is about ECG thingy haha... anyway wonder if you can address some of my concerns: - a) yes. Can. As long as your AW is cellular and you are with those telco that provide the service. You can activate it. a) can we buy AW from machine or other shop, then go to digi to get the airsim? b) how long is your AW lasted before you charge it again? c) making and receiving call via AW - is the quality decent and clear? b) usually it will left 40% throughout the day for my case. c) no issue for me so far when I calling while driving. You can YouTube search for this review if you want to hear the quality of their testing. |
