fyi, currently all Msia Telco yet to support AW. But starting AW5 maybe Msia Telco will support.

I got the same feedback from Switch as well, I'm thinking Apple is giving chances to retailers to deplete the AW4 stocks in Msia before releasing the AW5.

If really,then high chance Oct 25 or Nov 1 will come to our market

I dont think AW5 cellular will be available here.

on AW5 page at apple malaysia's site here part about cellular connectivity has been removed, which exist on US and SG page.

The Apple Malaysia AW S5 page lack a lot of information compared to SG page, not just cellular connectivity section. It could be due to S5 not yet released in Malaysia therefore the information available is not comprehensive enough. Since S5 cellular version has been listed in SIRIM, there is high possibility it would be available here, but may delay the release due to telco not yet ready

Lets hope so, itching to get myself a cellular model. However knowing Apple usually the product page will remain the same before or after product launch. hope i am wrong on this.

Most probably depend on the Telco progress also, if the Telco is unable to be ready to support cellular in AW, even cellular version is listed in SIRIM, eventually we will not get the cellular version as well. If Telco think that AW with cellular is expensive gadget and limited user will subscribe to their plan, they might not eager to support.

Currently only Maxis support smart watch with cellular, but only limited to Huawei Watch 2.

Was thinking is it worth getting AW4 with the 200 discount now or just wait for AW5?

if got budget/want to get celluar version(if apple offer it for MY market)..go for AW S5..
if just to get a AW..AW S4 is more than enough..

If you care about that 200, AW4 and AW5 actually not much difference.

But extra 200, you can show people your screen. And show them it is AW5.

I would definitely prefer the AW5 always on screen. Always debated on getting a AW due to this... but am gonna grab AW5 after hearing about the always on screen hehe.

Based on the SIRIM database it seem that AW3 might be have cellular version also, if Apple bring in cellular for AW3 then got another cheaper option too

Cannot. Only devices from ECG country can be activated the ECG. That’s the reason I planned to go SG later. No ApplePay already, I want ECG!!!

Both phone and watch must be SG set? or just the watch shud be enuff?

yes, indeed.. but i prefer AW S4/S5..come with thin bezel/larger screen..

Seem like S4 not much stock left, only have S3 and S5 option, if have budget definitely go for S5 as price difference with S4 also not much, if limited budget can consider S3 since the price less than 1k now haha
