Hi, I would like to get an Apple Watch in SG probably cellular+GPS version. I read through the thread and the cellular not supported by local carriers but I am wondering whether I can still use all other functions (like ECG, pairing with iPhone, receive messages from iPhone, tracking, heart tracking) in the Apple Watch (Cellular+GPS version) except the cellular? Thanks

you cant use ECG also, it is locked by region.

Thanks. Meaning if I buy from SG Titanium version Cellular+GPS, I can still use all the functions except things related to cellular + the EC?

I heard if I change the region to SG, then I can use the ECG?

Please confirm. Thanks.

activating / pairing your watch will have no issues if you have MY set iPhone and SG set Watch

but if you wanna get ECG then you gotta pair your SG set iPhone with SG sim together with a SG set Watch while you're in SG

*the above are based on some of the successful member testimony from the past couple of posts
hope we'll see it middle of this month, can't wait till the end hahaha

wanna see2 touch2 the different materials, especially aluminium and stainless steel

Thanks for the clarification. Once I pair with SG phone and SG sim with my friend in Singapore and activated the ECG, do I get to pair with my MY iPhone when I back to Malaysia? What if I decided to reset my watch? Will the ECG get reset as well and need to pair with SG phone and SG sim again in Singapore?

Thanks.

Hi all, I am in Singapore now and just bought a series 5. I am pairing it in Singapore since the best info i gathered so far is SG Phone and SG SIM but I dont have them. No harm trying with my MY SIM and MY Phone but roaming.

Yes, my ECG works and I double checked it with my MY iPhone X and my Digi SIM card but roaming with Singtel.

Just want to update everyone here but will check when i back to KL. Thanks.

I bought two watches but one only open and activate in Malaysia and the ECG doesn’t work in Malaysia. So it must activate in Singapore.

If Digi supported AW Cellular. You can use it in Malaysia.

Thanks. I tried to search whether Digi going to support eSim for Apple Watch but so far, no news yet. Any idea when we can get Digi to support Apple Watch Cellular? Thanks
