everybody knows you can charge phone on the go nowadays, it's not a news.
the reason people looking for long battery life phone because not everyone likes to carry around powerbank everywhere they go.
*
I'm that kinda person.
For me, I've been used to carrying my 29W quick charge charger with me instead of a powerbank ever since Apple supported fast charge.
Bought 2 of those things and never looked at 5W chargers/powerbanks ever again lol.
Heck the 18W charger provided with the 11 Pro is still slow compared to the 29W unit.

No way. fast charging has been proven that anything above 18w, it does not make difference anymore. this has been proven by many sources since iPhone X.

Absolutely true. I’ve not had to carry a power bank since I moved to the iPhone 6 Plus and don’t intend to start again, that’s why my primary requirement in a phone is for it to last me a whole day without the need to charge till I get home in the evening or night. I move around a lot for work so carrying a power bank could be quite a nuisance laugh.gif

Hey thanks for this man! I really wasn't aware that the 18W performs identical to my 29W unit. I'll be getting them 18W units in future biggrin.gif

yeah. no point to invest in higher W charger since it is not going to make a big difference. so the 18w charger that is given by apple for iphone 11 pro/pro max is not considering short-charging customers.

If you have the XR, upgrade to the 11 only if you want an ultra wide angle camera and night mode. Else it's pretty much the same phone with a faster processor.

Well it is said that the longer will actual hold for the full five hours or so maybe longer battery life though that is subjective and depends on your usage .

Thanks bro. Is Apple original 18w charger worth it? Or 3rd party ones equally reliable?

Depends on how invested you are in the iOS ecosystem. Specs wise, Note 10+ beats the 11 hands down. But if you value things like better quality apps, software support and longevity, than iPhone 11 is a better bet.
