If you have the XR, upgrade to the 11 only if you want an ultra wide angle camera and night mode. Else it's pretty much the same phone with a faster processor.

Guys, if not for the LCD display (which isn't too bad), the iPhone 11 is a steal for the price and features.

QUOTE(clamp_wl @ Sep 22 2019, 07:24 PM) Since I didnt own an iphone with e-sim previously I jz realised I selected e-sim during my pre-order. May i know if i can choose not to switch to e-sim during collection. Because i switch between phone quite alot. And i need to retain my number. Yes you can opt for regular nano sim. Worse case you can just go to the kiosk and request for sim replacement. The new sim will override the esim. |

QUOTE(derrickmoo @ Sep 26 2019, 12:04 PM) If you watch streaming videos a lot, the the Pro models will do justice with OLED HDR screens. If you use the camera mostly, then the regular 11 will do. It all depends on your usage pattern and needs. |

QUOTE(westlife @ Feb 6 2020, 11:08 AM) if u are get used to the crips and sharp display of OLED, you are likely to notice a difference. I've used both the 11 and 11 Pro and I can't notice the difference apart from Apple TV HDR effect. For Netflix or Amazon prime both devices (11 and 11 Pro) work well. Probably will notice the difference if side by side.iPhone 11 has lower resolution also. if you view white background and black text, you can easily notice the sharpness is not as good comparing to iPhone 11 Pro etc. |

QUOTE(westlife @ Jul 23 2020, 06:14 PM) yeah. certainly should go for pro max. i won't not go for iphone 11 also due to the low resolution display. I've used both. Really can't tell the difference with the naked eye. It's all perception. The iPhone 11 still uses a retina display so pixels aren't visible. Not being defensive but just sharing from what I've experienced. |
