No, Sabah doesn't accept people until you marry Sabahan. I know because I have worked in Sabah before. Whether you secular or religious or what doesn't change the rules.

It will be better if you could find mix Iban or Dayak with Chinese. My wife is quarter Iban. One thing for sure, the boobs of those with some Iban & Dayak blood are not airport like normal Chinese girls. On top of that they will be fairer compared to Iban & Dayak girls. Best of both worlds!

1st- There are a lot racist people, hard core taliban people in peninsular who want bring hatred to sarawak.
2nd- To limit peninsular ppl work in sarawak, take up professional post in Sarawak or management post especially in govt sector & O&G industry.
3rd- To protect Sarawakian local business from giant company in peninsular.
4th- Population of sarawakian is low compare to peninsular. No way can compete if by numbers.
5th- To protect Sarawak local party from peninsular based party like UMNO, PAS etc...

You may have better chance but still not easy. Before you are accepted as Sarawakian and while you are married, you still can only stay for 90 days.

After sometimes, you can try apply. But still not easy.

Let's see. For every RM 100 you took from Sarawakian, you only give them back RM 5.

And you spend the RM 95 you took from Sarawak and build fancy Petronas tower and roads in Semenangjung
