Should i buy ipod touch 4th gene as my music player and my other entertainment?

if you are into lossless pure entertainment listening. you shud get an iDevice which is LOD compatible, LOD bypasses internal amp. then u put it fru an amp and voila, good sound

i bought ipod touch 4th gen initially to replace my mp3 player.....in the end didnt use it as music player........more to games/browser ... .tried using it as music player but i didnt really like the quality ..still prefer my old mp3 player...

Any mp3 player better sound quality replacing my ipod touch currently died on battery&send it for replacemnt.might find something better than ip4

most of who auditioned the Teclast x19 in SG are preferring it over the hippo gumstick and cube e30

im using the very old sony mp3 b105f and im using audio technica ad500 headphone.
do u guys think the mp3 will limit my headphone's potential? or the diff is negligible?

technicality of the players ain't the issue, the issue is are you satisfied with the music u r listening using it, do u feel the AT shallow sounding? does it need high volume to play? full drive or not i leave it to the AT fanatics to tell you

ipad normally people recommend using line out dock to an external amp then to your end product headphone

but one thing's for sure, mp3 format is lossy format, so you will lose some audio detail in it, noticeable or not depends on your view, recommend use lossless format like FLAC or ALAC
