What will be the best setting or right setting? for movie, i believe it really good, but for music, i dont think so. i think most ppl here really interest with your words..and ur Pioneer HIFI system lose to 5500?

Well i guess that the pioneer model he have maybe is not very good. In that case, the Z5500 could be better.
Z5500 is a good speaker! But it does not shine in music. I use Direct Stereo Mode, built in driver of PSC805, foobar2000, volume 40%, sub 2 and 1/3 bar. It took me 3 yrs of listening to arrive to this setting.

But my hifi easily pwn it, but ofcoz cant compare like that cause the price difference is too much (return to topic as this is pc speaker thread). Z5500 lacking clarity of what i have heard from edifiers and realism of instruments. Tho soundstaging is excellent
Z5500 is better for games and movie as it really has the bass for that boom effect.
Just my opinion so dun flame me, im also a Z5500 owner and i love it
