It's an app called Shopback. You open Shopback then from within that app, open Lenovo Malaysia website. Then they can track your purchases and give you cashback. 12% is the highest in the last 9.months I've tracked it.


You can use ecoupon codes like CITI30, PCFAIR30, PCFAIR10, PCFAIR5, CHECKOUT for direct discount from Lenovo. Then after you paid (checkout), once Shopback tracked and confirmed your purchase, you can withdraw the cashback into your bank account. But bear in mind the confirmation may take 45-120 days.

Imagine, after applying the ecoupon codes, your laptop price is RM5000
Cashback @ 12% = RM600!

So you save RM600 + ecoupon discount. That's really a big deal!

No worries. I've been waiting for Ideapad 5 AMD for at least 2 months too. Can't wait anymore, I'm going for Ideapad 5 Intel with MX350 instead.

So will you go for this promotion or wait for the new Ideapad 5? Which one would be better? AMD or Intel with MX350? i think MX350 version is more pricey right?

Ya, Intel should be more pricey but I'll go with it this time. Since this cashback 12% is hard to come by, and it will negate the cost of it. The mx350 dgpu should offer slightly better performance than any Vega, though the Intel ice lake CPU a little less performance than AMD ryzen.

How to calculate the discounts? Example if my laptop price for Ideapad 5 before any discounts code apply is Rm3500. Is it RM3500- 5% discount code = RM 3,325, then shopback discounts for another 5% is it? Sorry i not really sure how to calculate the total discounts for shopback. Thanks
