Ceramic got some "wok hei" compared to induction?

I thought only a high-flame charcoal stove can get "wok hei"? hmm.gif

I bought a ceramic cooker two days ago.

I decided on this because my wife has tons of non-ferrous non-magnetic cookware that we can use with a ceramic cooker.

No need to spend extra money to buy induction cooker specific cookware.

I am boiling a bunch of purple-coloured sweet potatoes right now in a Corning glass pot. Timer set for 35 minutes. smile.gif

Corning glass pot, why glass pot? I thought glass is not a good heat conductor, any benifits?

It is the biggest pot I could find to accommodate the amount of sweet potatoes.

The water started to boil in the glass pot in under 5 minutes. Amazing! smile.gif

My Xiaomi Mijia induction cooker is pretty good (can even use their app)

Problem is everything is in Mandarin caligraphy for the manual.. gg

An induction cooker should be quite easy to use even without referring to the operation manual. smile.gif
