QUOTE(mafioso @ Aug 26 2019, 11:23 AM) btw does anyone's display look a little yellow-ish on Natural? bought 2 units at the roadshow (both 256gb) 1 with natural looks fine 1 with natural has a yellow tint on it i had to change mine to Vivid and 1 slide to the left towards a cooler screen to have a pure white display few forummers have reported yellowish switch from note fe to n10, at first feel the screen very yellowish, after few hours, find that the yellowish is more natural. imo they tuned it to be more warm, can always change the display settings to more cooler screen This post has been edited by hightechgadgets8: Aug 26 2019, 11:29 AM

QUOTE(Xaser_3 @ Aug 26 2019, 12:05 PM) Really weird phenomena. Don't tell me the AMOLED'S need time to adjust before showing a more whitish screen output? that was years ago during iphone 4 time when the loca glue needed time to cure, hence yellowish at first, but but its 2019 dont think that is the issue. i see more and more phone having yellowish screen ald ie. iphone xs max, maybe just ppl preference yellowish over blue

QUOTE(khainiz94 @ Aug 27 2019, 10:57 AM) This. The signal strength might affect your battery life. So the 1% lost per hour is normal. Or maybe better turn on Airplane Mode during sleep. airplane mode still uses battery, wish it had scheduled switch on and off like one plus phones

QUOTE(nj922 @ Aug 28 2019, 08:35 AM) Anyone experience sending a Samsung phone which drop into water causing blackout and no chargeable to Samsung service center? Does Samsung able to recover it? I m using note 8 now but I wan to make it power on so that I can trade this phone with note 10. afaik, if your board fried from water damage, samsung wont replace individual ic, which means you'll lose all your data with a board replacement. hopefully its just the lcd that fried and your data is still intact. PS: electronics and water dont mix, period. any1 willing or keep thinking that their phone is IPXX waterproof, well the risk is all yours

QUOTE(andrewcha @ Aug 30 2019, 09:37 AM) Sorry to ask here. How to check whether a unit is under SME? Was looking around saw a N9 demo unused unit. Seller said no more SME warranty but shop gives 3 month warranty themselves. Worth it? send sms to 62002 "pc imei" look for screen burn, usually demo units screen are badly burnt as they are switched on more than 12 hours a day, plus shop 3 month warranty does not cover screen burn

QUOTE(sakuraboo @ Aug 30 2019, 06:41 PM) They shouldn't have left the clip on the phone in the drop The force from the drop transmitted onto the clip and flew away Without the clip, a counter coup force can break the opposite edge of the screen as the waveform converge onto the opposite edge there is another video without clip, took 2 drops to crack the screen
