Pure fine quality tune there! Noticed this masterpiece months earlier and already hooked to it! Dreamy vocals with chilling beats, beautifully produced and remixed! One best progressive tune of 2009! You might need to try out the Mango remix, its old but gold as this one!
On the other hand, here is one african inspired tech choon. Had just been released yesteday on Nick Curly's Cecille.
EDIT:

I hope the line up will be Woods warming up the floor, Preach to deliver his techyness and then Schossow wrap up the night with filthy infectious choons

I catch it live yesterday and it was damn awesome! Uplifting and tech material all the way for 2 farking hours! Patterson is road testing Taxi for months now, that was one hell of wicked evil choon! Overall 4/5 for Patterson on essential mix!
About his debut album, soon to be release next year, and you will how it sounds like!
QUOTE
I have just finished 7 new tracks, 2 vocal tracks and more underground material. These will be released throughout next year. I will be airing some of these exclusively on the Essential Mix in November. I am also currently working on a collab with O’Callaghan which is long overdue. And about to start a new one with Tyas and Reaky.
I can smell that s373n is shifting too, let the man himself explain more about it!
Eh matt85, talking about Paul Kalkbrenner, he acted in a movie revolving around the scene in Berlin and EDM, its call Berlin Calling. But sadly it wont be showing on our local cinemas.
QUOTE
Berlin Calling: “Berlin electronic music composer Martin (Paul Kalkbrenner), known as DJ Ickarus, is touring with his manager and girlfriend Mathilde (Rita Lengyel) from club to club around the globe and is about to release their biggest album to date. However, all of his plans are thrown out of kilter after Ickarus is submitted to the emergency ward of a psychiatric clinic high on drugs after a gig - a tragicomedy in Berlin of today.”
Paul Kalkbrenner is delivering the perfect music for this movie in its present form. The Soundtrack contains ten exclusively produced tracks, including the movie´s hymn “Sky and Sand”. In addition, the package holds five previousely released tracks - among others “Gebrünn Gebrünn” and “Altes Kamuffel” - as well as “Mango” by Sascha Funke. All of them come along in a very exclusive Berlin Calling Edit, and, in the context of the movie, you will experience these tracks completely new.
To round up my post, this is for you s373n, prog meets tech with bits of minimal, cheers!
I also listened to some previews on Paul Kalkbrenner`s Berlin Calling album. well, I find them bit lay-back, slow; if you know what I mean (sorry, I don`t know how to describe it )
Yea more to electronica, slow BPM, laidback atmosphere. But thats the sound of Bpitch Control!
You too had fallen for Quivver's Chasin A Feeling eh, be sure to try out his Dirty Nails & Vapour Trails album and then sooner or later you gonna dig stuff from Boz Boz!

Hey friend, that track Late Night Alumni's Empty Streets was the remix version by Seamus Haji. Instead of playing those tracks, it will be more interesting if you do a short mix of it

Jan 2010 Durand and Tyas. What you guys think ?
Great news! Tyas and Durand eh, im not worry about Tyas but Durand? Will he be playing the Lethal Industry style that he known for?
I sense we will be having Patterson to downtown real soon, maybe...
Edit: By the way, there are two new Joint Operation Centre choons on the way, i guess should be releasing next monday on Captivating Sounds 100th release!

Then have you heard of the band Late Night Alumni? Their second album has just been released and it was pure class as the previous one! Mainly chill house stuff, not really downtempo.
Yes thats their first single from their second album. The band Late Night Alumni is all about Becky beautiful voice! And for Kaskade i know you'll be digging his album soon, try Distance!
I shall give you a taste of the band performing live if you have not heard this.
Resuming to downtempo, i cant denied myself to not post this excellent tranquil piece, Zero 7 - In The Waiting Line
Yea, you're right. He sampled Giorgio Moroder's The Chase for the track Chase The Mouse. Heck, i was wondering how did you know this tune, you must be an old fag eh? Cheers!

I just released my latest track “Sweep the Floor,” which is part of the dusty house series. Everyone in Europe is getting into the groovy house thing, so I have been giving the audience what they want to hear with my own twist on it. The Dusty House series will be very simple and groovy. Currently I am working on Dusty House Room 2 which should be coming out soon. One of the tracks on Dusty House Room 2 will be called Chase the Mouse. I used Giorgio Moroder’s -Chase as the sample behind the track which gave me the opportunity to give the track a fun and playful name. After the third Dusty House, I will start working on a new album, which I think will also be very different.
Im indulging in one ambient electronica at the moment. The german speech really caught my attention when i first heard. Has that kind of eerie atmosphere and will cause you into a state of hypnotize.
Good stuff that i felt i must share with you guys!
Nice track to chill to. Especially with a glass of Château d'Yquem wine
Yes indeed, the speech is so arousing. Good taste you have there buddy. Château d'Yquem? Never heard of that wine, can it be found at Denise?

Vaiz, Château d'Yquem's wine is reputedly the best white wine around. I know there's a vintage bottle selling at 33k euros
Diciple, Matt is right, come join us to catch the lord of terror in action! Exactly one week starting from now, damn excited!
33k euros LOL! How vintage is it, 10 years?

Yes. I love that track ;D ... heard it in JOC's Subculture.

these 2 tracks featured in the upcoming Cressida's 2010 EP. Awesome!
and album mix of Every Other Way. IMO, better than Armin's.

Gai Barone - Lilith
Lets say if we compare Backup / Cramped with JOC's older choons, this release kinda disappointing though. You go hear Bass Thing, Marshmallow and especially this one, Elevator Dance Off, then you find out this release is nothing.
